At about 6:40 in the clip, the Nintendo producer talks about the collaboration with PlatinumGames for Bayonetta 2: "I don't know how much I can say. I can't really reveal anything. But let me say you can definitely look forward to what is coming."
To me, in the context of what he says before that, it seems to hint more towards future games than to Bayonetta 2.
I could see loose talk of Bayonetta 3 happening depending on 2's success but Platinum are work for hires so there's probably a few pitches they've offered to Ninty that are in the early stages and may never get past the light of day.
That was a really great video actually, makes me appreciate the work platinum do even more. I hope platinum continues to work with Nintendo, they seem to work pretty well together

Some of the Easter eggs in B2 have renewed my hope that they're going to be helping out in a big way on Starfox. Although I do think it's probably a long, long way off.

I was thinking along the same lines. I don't know if Platinum is a company that would do games where they haven't complete creative control, but Miyamoto has stated that Nintendo might need to bring in another company to get Starfox U ready for Holiday 2015 release.
There are also the Metroid franchise, where 1 or 2 games seems to be scheduled.
Platinum are likely to continue making complex Console games in the near future, and I see no reason for them to count out making games for any of the 3 systems available like some western publishers do.Nintendo need 3rd party developers to produce games for the Wii U either independently or in conjunction with heir in-house development teams, so they'll definitely be more collaborations between the two.
Hurrah!
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
Platinum makes button mashing games sadly. The same game but just with a bigger learning curve at the beginning and set to force playing it right would be far more enjoyable.

You have not played...any of Platinum's games if that's what you think. Vanquished has a rediculous learning curve at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it's fun. It's arguably one of those games where you should start on easy, then crank it up to hard once you get the hang of it to enjoy it the most. Same could be argued for Wonderful 101, though I think normal is hard enough...I think Bayonetta had a weird learning curve that arguably hinged too much on learning how to dodge so you could activate witch time, but it still ruins your "button masher" theory since that's pretty much the extreme opposite of a button masher.
The only button mashing is when you are in a cinematic and have to press a button over and over when prompted. Beyond that the game destroys you if you try to button mash your way to victory, even on the easiest setting.
And I would love another Platinum game for my Wii U, whether it is a new IP or not.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I have played the first Bayonetta (Few Hours) and Wonderful 101 (All of it on Normal).
Wonderful 101 didn't destroy me and it should have done the way I was playing it using cheap tricks.

I forgot about Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, where a lot of important gameplay systems are never explained to you outside of a separate training mode most people would never think to use, and again, a lot of the gameplay hinges on parrying, the difficulty curve starts fairly high...Platinum is not the company you're thinking of.

Then don't play on Normal. It's not 1996 anymore. You want a game to kick your butt up and down the street, you play on higher difficulties. Or play sadomasochist porn games. Either one will do.
