I want to pick up a NES REMIX game, and I don't know if I should get the NES Remix Pack on Wii U or the Ultimate NES Remix on 3DS.
They're the same price, which one has the most value/content?
Or do I need to get BOTH?
please reply

I only have NES Remix 1 so someone who has them all might be able to give a better answer but, from what I can tell, Ultimate NES Remix includes selected games from NES Remix 1 and 2 (not all of them) as well as two new modes: a sped-up version of Super Mario Bros, and Famicom Remix, which is like the main mode but based on the Japanese versions of the games. So if you want all the content possible you'll have to get both, but NES Remix Pack on Wii U has more content overall.

@redpanda0310 : The Wii U edition contains both NES Remix 1 & 2 while Ultimate NES Remix on 3DS only includes a selection of activities from NES Remix 1 & 2. From memory (and I did complete the game all those years ago), Ultimate NES Remix only contains 25% of the content included in the collection on Wii U, making it pretty poor value for money. Definitely spring for the Wii U edition as that will give you far better bang for your buck.

I would have easily bought both though, but unfortunately the Wii U physical edition was never released in Australia/Europe.

Frankly, I'm surprised that these haven't been ported to the Switch yet. Maybe one for 2022?

Wait, the Wii U version contains both full games!? I always thought every physical version only contained selected parts of the games. Good to know, may have to look into that myself now.

Wii U's bonus game also is more interesting in my opinion. Super Luigi Brothers, which is NES SMB1 with Mario's sprite edited to look like Luigi, Luigi style floaty physics, and the game scrolls to the left instead of the right.

3DS only gets regular SMB1 set to run at 2X speed. Just a mere novelty that doesn't play well, where as the Wii U extra (That I think was paired with NES Remix 2) is something I've actually gone back to through the years.
