Well I enjoyed it. I can understand being a bit peeved, but I also have to blame EA over Nintendo for the outcome. I'd be very surprised if there already hadn't been a parting of the ways between Nintendo and EA by this point. The wat EA treated their releases (Mass Effect 3 only in the eshop in NA?) makes it look like they released them only because they were completed - they clearly had nothing else in the pipeline.
I do think Nintendo should reach out to this guy if only to try to have some good relations with a new developer; that may well be what he hopes for given the tone of his tweets.
As far as i know it's the manufacturer's job to get the game's on there platform, in this day & age there are so meny platform's publishers & dev's can go to & choose any platform thay wish. Some manufacturer's do actually advertise 3rd parties game's, i guess as Criterion are now independent thay can choose which platforms thay'll make game's for.
Two reasons I didn't buy this game: No 2 player co-op, $60 price tag.
I guess he could be referring to Nintendo's eShop channel not featuring the game enough? I don't know. But, yeah, EA is definitely more to blame that Nintendo. Anything Nintendo does is out of generosity (as far as promoting 3rd party games), whereas it's literally EA's business to advertise it.
Maybe a few generations ago, but these days apart if the business is advertising third party games. Its the reason why games like Call of Duty is usually referred as a Xbox game or Final Fantasy as a PlayStation one.
With that said Nintendo was smart not to put marketing money toward a late port.
WAT!
