I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!

I never played any of those games. At the risk of a backlash, are they that good?

Well, it seems like at least some other people want to see Hitman on the Wii U. With luck it's the still unnamed Square Enix port that's being worked on but I'm not holding my breath. I don't know how much difference these things make (I guess in the case of Xenoblade it showed that they can make a difference) but I've started a petition for Hitman which will notify Square Enix: https://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/square-enix-ltd-releas...

Spread the word.

What else is there that people want and what can we do about it?

I've never played Angry Birds and I don't really get what it's about. Would many people really want it on a home console?

No.

But the new one is.

Eh. The most recent one looks Okay, much like the rest of the games in the Tomb Raider series.

EDIT: Honestly, I do too much PC gaming to care about multiplatform titles nowadays. Unless a developer truly believes that piracy means lost sales (when it really doesn't when you look at the logistics), that developer will usually put their game on the PC market.

Guild Wars 2 would be multi-platform if it came to Wii U. I'd like to see cross-platform play with Wii U. Though of course the initial download takes up 25GB and I doubt they could get that on a disc, so some of it would have to be downloaded. Then if (and I mean when) a new expansion launches people'd be stuck downloading even bigger files to their Wii U. That's a lot of trouble to get the game on Wii U, but the game is worth it.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Personally, I'd like to see just about any and every multiplatform title come to Wii U. Next gen, I'd like to just stick to the Wii U (I have a Wii, 360, and PS3 from the previous), so anything we can get on the Wii U would be great. That being said, here are what I'd like to see the most:

  • Any new Bioshock or anything from Irrational, for that matter (as Infinite is obviously not coming to Wii U)
  • Tomb Raider
  • Elder Scrolls VI
  • Soul Caliber (Tekken has been great, so I don't see why Namco can't do it again.)
  • Worms (Any strategy game is guaranteed to work well with the GamePad.)
  • Portal (I don't know if there are any sequels in the pipe, but I'm sure Valve could do some creative things with the GamePad. Maybe an exclusive spin-off?? Nah...)
  • Command & Conquer, AOE, or any half-decent RTS
  • TimeSpliters 4 (Please Crytek!)
  • Both new Metal Gear games
  • Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (Not going to happen, I know)

This is quite a good point. I never understood why anyone would want to play RTS and other strategy games with anything but a mouse (when I used to play them, quite a few years ago) but I was quite surprised that we didn't see more on the Wii, with the pointer control. The gamepad would probably work just as well but is, obviously, a smaller screen than on PCs.

Well with the new one coming out this March you wont need to play the old ones since this is a reboot of the series. Honestly I didnt like the older ones but this reboot looks alot better.

Agreed. The old ones never appealed to me, but I am fairly interested in the reboot.

It may not be "cross platform" but I'd love to finally get a Katamari game on Wii U.
SEGA's "Dreamcast Collections", particularly Space Channel 5 and Sonic Adventure 1/2. It's simple. They're already ported in HD...so just make the gamepad use off-screen play like NSMB U did. Nothing fancy...

Indeed! Imagine using the GamePad to place your units and then having the TV display a large zoomed-out version of the map so you can see what's going on elsewhere. Also, as stated elsewhere, the GamePad could give you virtually unlimted room for your dash/inventory/whatever so that specific actions, items, or units don't have to be assigned to buttons.

Honestly, I'm in turmoil over which control scheme I'm going to use on Pikmin 3!

Select on the Gamepad, place with the Wiimote?
