I got a white Wii U (8 gb) and breath of the wild the first game i played and was saved at the system's memory was botw.(i didn't have a usb stick) Then it needed an update and i couldn't update it because there was no system memory ( as you may know every update is saved where the game is which in this occasion it's the system memory) so i decided to buy a usb stick with 64 gb..I transfered all of my other games which were previously in the system memory to my usb stick. All pf my games were NOT purchased from the e-shop.Then I tried to tranfer botw as well to finally be able to update it (the reason i bought the usb stick at the first place -.-) but when i try to select it it says '' You cannot select software that is being updated or downloaded'' I can't delete it or tranfer it because it needs the update? But i cannot update it because there is no space at the system memory!! What am i supposed to do?Is that update THAT big and impportant? please help me is this normal?
What I found is that you can download from the Eshop directly to the usb device, so try this:
1. Delete the game but not the save data
2. Download from the Eshop with your device plugged in. Nintendo says it should automatically pick your device
