So next question: How do you make a miiverse post of your level (for the screenshot)
The post is made if you upload the level, then add the link to your post containing the screenshot to the NL SMM page(https://www.nintendolife.com/super-mario-maker) and it'll add it automatically.
This was the easy part, but how do we actually embed it into our forum posts?
The only thing that does bother me in this game is that most of the players aren't really bothered to try to finish a challenging level. Most of my levels have a really low completion ratio. It's probably also why the automatic ones are so popular. I personally am not against these sort of levels though. The users that have created these levels have sometimes done some really outstanding job of creating a visual spectacle.
I've got two new stages up! This time I created two different variations of the same level, thought it be interesting to see which one is more liked by other players.
You were expecting a signature, boy I bet You're Disappointed.
@Whopper744 - Played SS Magikoopa! Loved it! (Gave you a star) I haven't beaten it yet, but I set you to follow so I can come back to it later. I really like what you did with the design aspects.
@Tamara - Peach's Night Out is a blast! I'm stuck in one part, but I'm coming back to it later. I will figure it out. (Gave you a star as well)
@eXtremeHippo - Played "Bowser's Bob-omb Factory". Great level! Very similar to one I'm building. (Mine is an enemy factory that also includes bob-ombs as well as others.) Set you as a designer to follow and gave you a star.
@Brewsky - Played "Find Toon Link" What a fun level! I like being rewarded like that for searching and breaking stuff. Well done! Gave you a star and added to follow.
@ChelsAngel - Played Rosalina's Journey! What a great course! Loved the ice blocks, cave, and stars used to make is "space-like". Very well done! Gave it a star and added you to follow.
@Blue_Blur - I played your new course. Excellent use of the shoe!
Hey guys, I just noticed that many of you are sharing your levels in both SMM threads. Wouldn't it be nice to just use the other thread for sharing and leave this one for discussions (or whatever you do in a forum)?
Anyway, I was wondering something. When I make a level I tend to put enemies and platforms in such a way that you can speedrun it if you find the right path and timing, and I usually put 2 or 3 ways to do it. Am I the only one that does this? It's really time consuming but it's worth every minute.
Well I'm almost at 50 stars, just need one more. o.o
Sadly, most of my Hammer Bros stages are getting little to no attention...only one that's popular is the Factory level. :c

Keep it PG-13-ish.
The "music sound effect" (and the silence thing) was being a pain in the butt, it kept resetting randomly and all that and I just gave up and went with it anyways. Anyways, not exactly a hard level...but....

I just played this one! It was hilarious descending into the springy madness. While easy, it wasn't without challenge. I liked the spring-based challenges you created. I think a little danger would help. I think your use of the silence was a creative way to give use a break from from the choas. Your use of the P switch was frustrating, but really, I should have known D:
Yeah it was meant to be an easy stage, I just threw in the P-Switch thing as a silly little trap. I like how the bonus music comes back if you just leave it alone and continue, though. lol

That paranoid feeling you get after several people fail to beat your level and you wonder whether or not you made it too hard....(this is only with the first 2 sets of items)

This might be the wrong place to ask a question like this, but I'll give it a shot here.
I just bought Super Mario Maker today, and I've enjoyed it so far. However, I'm being told that I will unlock more editing parts when I play tomorrow... wasn't this patched out? My game is at version 1.0.1 so I'm pretty sure I downloaded the patch, but for some reason I'm not able to unlock everything within 3 hours.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated.
You should be able to get parts very quickly by spamming a single block. When you get new parts, you must wait five minutes before returning to spamming blocks.
So I just noted that every time you place a block, the sound it makes its actually a distortion voice saying the block/enemy name.
@BigDaddysPizza: The time needed to spend using the tools was reduced. You still need to wait for the next day for the parts to advance.
You can unlock everything by getting the notification, and then advancing the wii u clock one day.
New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, a remake of Super Mario Bros 1 and The Lost Levels for NSMBDS.

1) Spend five minutes in the Course Maker and get the notification that more tools will arrive the next day.
2a) Wait until the next day OR
2b) Use every new tool you've unlocked once AND place down a certain number of blocks (it's a lot, just spam floor tiles to make it quick). You will get a message saying the truck came early.

@MegaMari0: ikr? I just made a new level and just 1 out of 13 has made it to the end. I had to re upload it and it now stands at 0% clear rate. 64 lives of 9 poor souls have been used
