Topic: Madden 13 on Wii U

I'm looking to get a gift for my son and like the looks of either Madden 13 or Fifa 13. I was reading reviews about it and have a couple of questions. The first is about the controllers that you can use for this game. It seems that it is best used with the gamepad, but what about a two player game? Can a "regular" controller be used? If it can, would the person with the gamepad have an advantage? Would it be more fun for the player with the gamepad and can players switch controllers during the game?

From what I remember you can play the game with the Wii nunchuk/remote or the pro controller in addition to the gamepad. I don't think there would be an unfair advantage. You can switch teams if you are playing a standard local two-player game, so yes you could switch controllers that way. This is all in regards to Madden, I didn't have FIFA.
