Topic: Is something wrong with super smash bros controllers ?

Bought a Wii remote so that i can play super smash bros without having to move with joysticks ( i hate that ) and i also hate to jump with the up arrow. so my solution to this problem was to buy a Wii Remote.

So this is what i did: Went in to customise the controlls so i can jump with 2 and special attack with B and shield with the "up" arrow. I save this, then go back to main menu and start a game and the controlls are set back to default !!!! i cant jump with 2 and i cant special attack with B. the controlls are set back to default and it pisses me off so so so much ! i hate playing with joysticks and i hate jumping with the Up arrow =(. So i go back to controll editing and my custom layout is still "saved" and appearing in the configuration menu but when i play a game the controlls is default =( And i don`t enjoy playing the game with joysticks. Anyone know how to fix this ?

Did you set a nickname?

Where it says player one you need to change that to your custom controls name

Just change from default to your preferred set-up.
