Thank you for all the responses. I've been playing Mario Kart Wii like crazy the last couple of days.
I didn't realize Nintendo killed the online play for Mario Kart (bad move, Nintendo). If I buy a Wii U, can I play the Mario Kart Wii online, or do I need the new Mario Kart?
I really think I could play Mario Kart Wii for quite a while longer, but I'd like to play against real people, more of a challenge. Although there was a lot of cheating the last time I played online.
Now would be the time to get one. You can play great games like mario 3d world, mario kart 8 and eventually super smash bros. plus there are some great games available on the eshop.
mario kart 8 is the best mario kart in my opinion. Plus with the dlc coming soon, it makes the replay value on the game higher with the new tracks, carts and characters.
You could always hold out til Black Friday and see if any of the sales would throw in an extra game or gift card or something.
