If all three of these characters are indeed playable, that officially means the 9 slot character select screen was a placeholder, since we now have 10 characters.

So we now have 10 characters if I am correct. 1 of them was totally unexpected (Agitha) and one of them is new (Lana). I am very happy that they did add Darunia!
What more could they add? Maybe Saria with plant attacks and Malon with cattle attacks (as some people suggested). Or the happy-mask man with different masks? Or the music-box man with his music box and Bremen animals? Just an idea.
A pity that you can't play as a villain (as far as we know). It would have been fun if you could play as Ganondorf, or Vaatti, or Birne, or as Koume and Kotake.
@Henmii I say yes please to Malon and Mask salesman! We've had the Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time (which is now) weeks, so we'll hopefully get a Majora's Mask week later! I mean come on, Skull kid has to be a villain.

WAIT! Did they confirm that it would be 50% males 50% females? Looking at the current roster, that means that the villains will (pretty much) be playable!

As others have already said, this game sounds better and better everytime they show something new about it. Though ts seems that playable characters are from OoT, TP and SS only, I'm quite sure we will get the best kind of fanservice Koei Tecmo can give us with this.
An if this does well enough, we are bound to have a sequel, right? Anyway, I really hope this game does well to boost the relationship between Nintendo and Koei Tecmo even more. And maybe it's enough to push Nintendo to do more collabs with different publishers and developers.
They did a really good job designing Lana. She fits so well into the Zelda series. Maybe we'll see her in a future Zelda title?
