That being said, I know that Link is level 74, Ganondorf is level 30, Cia and friends are nowhere above level 25, everyone else (except maybe Zant?) is 40s through early 50s. Probably underleveled for the time I've put into it but the amount I've failed at certain missions is impressive.
Link - 189
Ganondorf - 187
Impa, Sheik, Zelda, and Darunia - 185
Lana - 170
Ruto - 120
Everyone else - 100
I was able to do this by pretty much playing exclusively as Link (play the master quest rack up your KOs and the TP divisive opponent scenarios to level up quickly) and abusing the infinite rupee glitch. To do the rupee glitch play the scenario that has two Gohmas and a traitorous Ghirahim as Lana with a rupee+ summoning gate (I believe it's the 3rd one from the bottom in the 5th column in the OG Adventure map). Go towards the one on the left, spam Y until you summon Argorok, quickly shoot Gohma in the eye and then use the B+B+B+B+Y combo to ride Argorok and kill Gohma without using a smash attack. It can take a few tries to get it to work but if you notice your rupee count jump up after Gohma blows up rather than count up, you are doing it right.
The game IS good right? I know it got good review. Does it ever get mind-numbingly repetitive? I can't handle that.
The answer to both is yes, if that makes sense. It's good game to boot up from time to time, but if you plan sitting with it for hours, you will get sick of it fast. It is pretty long and worth the money, but only if you play it "not that long".
The inclusion of tingle is weird. I don't get the Nintendo hardon for him and not just let him die as a mistake that he is.
But... But Tingle is the best...
Also, I disagree. The game can get tiresome, but I can sit and play it for hours, quite literally, without getting bored. It's really fun, imo, and it's by far my most played Wii U game.
The game deserves a sequel. Lana needs to be in more Zelda games. But wait... Is Lana and Cia the same person or just split spirits? Because... I really wanna see how Lana + Cia would behave...

I honesty wouldn't even see how a sequel would work with all the content in this game. I would rather they just add more dlc tbh.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

A sequel could work, my friend. Hyrule Warriors 2 could be about Dark Link or a Gerudo story or just about anything! Make a better story, add even more content that the first game, tweak the gameplay, throw in online and... BAM! There it is
I think the timing of this game was perfect. I don't think lighting will strike twice for this game. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it and many others that gave it a chance did as well. A very underrated game by scores standards.

This game got trashed even though it has more content that several recent big games. But the game really is just for huge Zelda fans, though. A person who barely understands the Zelda series just won't understand the amazing feeling of playing as Midna, Sheik, Zelda, etc.

That's the thing though, i know a lot of Zelda fans that still haven't got this game because they don't think its legit.

Isn't that sad?! They think its all just button-mashing when it isn't! You gotta use strategy to figure out the best way to take enemies down and there are RPG elements too!
Well it IS mostly about button mashing (especially when you find one of the really good attacks (like Midna's B B Y attack)), but then you fail A rank because you failed to block Manhandla's attack once. It's just that that's what I like about the game (the button mashing part, failing A rank that easily can be deeply frustrating to me).
So Hyrule Warriors is being ported to 3DS and Tetra and the King of Red Lions will be transferable to the Wii U version. Makes me wonder if they'll be available as DLC for the Wii U version as well.

Yes, it'll be $40 and only accessible via Gamestop. #SSBMONEY
I never picked up the Wii U version (but was thinking about it!) Glad I held off!!!!!!!!!!! Day-one purchase for the 3DS version whenever it comes west! Looks like the graphics for the 3DS version hold up pretty well to their Wii U counterpart.
Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!! The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us! Backloggery Check my Youtube channel out! http://www.youtube.com/user/Ha...
