I would say it is about 50/50 but it does make me want a Sonic Amiibo now lol

I won't lie: that would actually get me to at least consider getting this game, at least at a smaller price than retail. I actually have a Sonic amiibo, and 14 others, so if I can use any of them, that's something I'd be interested in. Though I actually hope they don't include someone who's rare like Ness, because that would just feel like a massive slap to the face.

Well, for starters the art is taken from Lost World (and why would Sonic be dressed as link here, anyway?). Also, you can see the picture is all blurred out behind Sonic, from where they deleted the game box and characters that were there originally.

I see it as a Lost World cross-over for Hyrule Warriors, just like there was a Zelda cross-over for Lost World. That is why the art is from Lost World and why Sonic is dress like Link. The blurriness is because Sonic moves so fast lol jk

I really get the feeling that Majora's Mask and Wind Waker missions for Legend Mode will be available (maybe 2 of each like with Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword in the Wii U version), would be awkward having Tetra and Tingle on the boxart otherwise.

This has really got me wanting to play Hyrule Warriors again. After I finish Dream Drop Distance I'll try and make another tiny dent in all that DLC

I really hope that this is going to be real. Imagining Sonic in this game and using a moveset to defeat countless enemies from a Zelda game sounds a little odd, but I still really want to see it happen. My excitement for this is up, but I'm still taking it with a grain of salt so I'm not disappointed if it doesn't happen.

I expect Tetra to have her Zelda look as an alternate outfit. Also I hope for Toon Link, and I especially hope for Cross save.

I would be extremely surprised if she didn't end up having the Zelda costume in the future. Toon Link could be plausible, he does have plenty of tools that he could use for fighting that other characters don't have.

I want to add to my previous post:
-Wind Waker stage (This is possibly likely, but i can't imagine how it be done since WW's world is mostly water, maybe underneath the ocean where Hyrule is?)

Well, if the Zoras Domain and Lake Hylia can be sewn together to make a level, I guess they can make a Frankenstein monster out of several islands from the Wind Waker's great ocean.

This might be a stupid question but I haven't seen it clarified anywhere else so here it goes... is this going to be exclusive to New 3DS, or will my original XL model play it? I didn't know if this was a Xenoblade Chronicles type of deal or not.

Plus in the trailer it's being played on the New 3DS, so there's that as well...

Not a stupid question at all. One would assume it's a New 3DS exclusive considering how big the Wii U game is but it seems that's not the case. The box art shown is the regular 3DS case, not like Xenoblade Chronicles.

Thanks for the reply. And good call on the box art. I didn't think to pay attention to that. I just thought that the camera control provided by the C-stick would be make it exclusive to New 3DS, but glad I was mistaken!
