They already have a number of bundles that include 60 dollar games. Pack ins are a form of discount even if the box price doesn't drop...although the WiiU has had a price cut as well. At this point there is no point in a price drop. They have made all the profit they are really going to with the current system and want to push potential customers to the new shiny whatever the NX is. I personally think the systems current bundles are a great deal. Gaming is expensive.

@Octane eh I think when you consider the fact that NX will primarily be a handheld and the 3DS will have the highest selling exclusive of the year by far with Sun & Moon I think Nintendo are right to focus on that as opposed to shifting several thousand more Wii Us. At this point I'm more interested in how the Wii U and its games will be archived rather than how much selling potential it has. Ports, remasters and such of the Wii Us best games will hopefully continue on the NX but as far as experiencing the likes of Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3 and Splatoon with the Gamepad as they were meant to be played it will be interesting to see how that happens as the months turn to years.
Though I'm still happily playing those games and more on my Wii U so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
@Shinion I guess you have an nx dev kit or Nintendo has invited you to a private showing seeing as how you know what it is. I mean why would anyone believe rumors that all disagree with each other on various big differences.
