Wii U doesn't even support 16:10 output, let alone far more unusual resolutions...
Wii U is exclusively a 16:9 console. Any wider aspect ratio display will require pillarboxing to be done to frame the image, unless you stretch and distort the image to full-screen via your monitor's settings.
Even when connected to a 4:3 television which the Wii U was last console to offer any support for, it will be a letterboxed 16:9 experience outside of backwards compatibility mode, where proper full-screen 4:3 was supported 99% of the time on the original Wii.
