It's fake but it would be interesting. I can imagine Tingle would play a prominent role in the story and Link, being silent like Paper Mario, would be the attention of all kinds of strange misadventures. Then there's Ganondorf, who would be as cheesy and light-hearted as Bowser was in the last two Paper Mario games... yeah, maybe it wouldn't work out.

I consider Kirby's Epic Yarn to kind of be the equivalent of "Paper Kirby" so why not spin off more Nintendo franchises with similar art styles? It would be something new and interesting.
Damn boy ! Great to see someone with an idea like the one i had after thinking about "Paper Something" a bit. I came to the conclusion that "Paper Kirby" / a Kirby RPG could be a great idea. Of course i thought about doing it in a Epic Yarn style too. Using Yoshi's Island's style of graphics for a Mario RPG could be a good idea too.

A Paper Zelda game would be awesome! But I'd rather see Intelligent Systems spend their time making a Fire Emblem for the 3DS, after they finish Paper Mario 3DS. Assuming they'll be handling a Paper Zelda game ofcourse.

I hope it will happen. But if it will be the first Wii u Zelda, people definitely will complain: "I don't want to see such a strange looking and kiddie Zelda. Where's the super realistic, dark Zelda that they promised?"
Aonuma has already said that the Wii u demo was merely a demo, but you know how some people are!
Personally I was thinking more of a puppet-kind of game. You know, Salvatore playing the legend of Zelda with puppets for kids (for money, no less). And then you get to play the game. The characters and enemies are all puppets. Levels are decor-pieces. For the rest I don't know. I am not a developer after all!

but yeah, Zelda is meant to be serious. They found a perfect balance of cute and serious in Toon Link, so let's leave it as that. If this had been true, I would've been so disappointed.
I do think they should make another 2D game like Adventure of Link, but I'd have one thing I'd hope they'd do differently. I'd just want them to make a good game this time.

ohh! ohh! this may be off topic a little, but what if instead of "The Legend Of Zelda" it's twist(much like a paper or yarn twist) would be futuristic, "The something of Zelda" i cant think of any words that would fit into that something, but it is something to think about for now.
It's fake, I can already tell! It's just a lie. Nintendo won't make a Paper Zelda. Sure, it would be a good idea, but it won't happen. I think they're sticking to Paper Mario for now.
