Topic: Have u guys heard about paper Zelda

I was on zelda universe and they reported that on cdon(a swedish game company) that the legend of paper Zelda would be coming out on the wii u! what do u guys think???

May I have some source with that?

It would be awesome if it was true but I haven't heard of any news about it. I greatly enjoy the paper mario games and if a paper zelda is made then it'll be a first day buy for me.

Can't see that happening. Not sure what I think about it though.

A Paper Zelda game would be awesome! But I'd rather see Intelligent Systems spend their time making a Fire Emblem for the 3DS, after they finish Paper Mario 3DS. Assuming they'll be handling a Paper Zelda game ofcourse.

I don't think it would work well. Link's sidescrolling roots aren't as strong as Mario's imo. And the humor that goes along with the Paper Mario games could easily destroy Link as a character.
Also i always get a big feeling of mystery surrounding Link's character. I just don't think a lighthearted RPG would be the place for him to be.
But if Paper Zelda turns out to be The Wind Waker "2" i'd be excited.

Mmm I think its fake. It would be kool, but I think its too good to be true :[ I would rather have a zelda that looks a lo like the tech demo they showed at E3 on Wii U than a Paper Zelda. :]

the source says it was probably an error, but i do think that windwaker and the handheld zeldas were kinda papery with that stained-glass theme... i'd be down for a wii u windwaker sequel :3

Oh, i first thought this was about a Paper Zelda for the 3DS. So just to clear that up i'd like a Wind Waker sequel for the 3DS please.

another game in that line is what i meant — i know spirit tracks is a sequel to PH, but i hated that game and never want to drive a train in a LoZ game again. i'd like to see that series go back ro its sailing roots :3

I know Phantom Hourglass is the sequel to Wind Waker but we, fans of Wind Waker, want a true sequel. Wii want a console sequel, not a pint sized Zelda game like Phantom Hourglass when compared to Wind Waker, for Wii or better yet, the Wii U.

Thought so.
It may resemble the graphical style. But since it's more of of a top down affair i don't see it as a "true" sequel.
The camera perspective in "Wind Waker" felt more epic to me and i'd find it great if it came to the 3DS.

That's all i will do with Wind Wakerizing this thread, i promise.

on topic: Just wanted to add that the flat style of the Paper Mario games wouldn't make it a good place for typical Zelda puzzles.
