Topic: Fatal Frame/Project Zero Series

I have a Japanese Wii U and I am interested in getting Fatal Frame V, but I have never played the series before and I'm not completely sure on how the gameplay is. Could those that have played the series tell me their thoughts on it and how it plays?

Well I played Crimson Butterfly on the original Xbox, and it was terrifying! (And still is!) the best way to describe the gameplay would be Resident Evil 4, but without guns.

I never played a game in the series but I think only one came to NA right ?

I played FF1 on PS2 and FF2 on Wii. The game is basically a survival horror where your only weapon is a camera; controls were a bit clunky but the atmosphere is incredible. Be ready to walk slowly trough traditional japanese houses and gardens...

Thanks for all of your replies. It does sound fairly interesting. Kind of want to get it on launch or platinum on club nintendo, but it costs around $80-$90 CAD and I will be picking up Hyrule Warriors the same day... And Smash Bros is coming soon
