How often do eShop tend to have sales? And do the same games come on sale more than once?

The reason for why Im asking is there is some games I would really like to get, but I know I dont have the time to play them all in the nearest future. So if its likely they will come on sale again in a few months I might aswell wait..
Just for the record its RE: revelations and Rayman Legends Im planning on getiing

Impossible to tell because if they were to outline exactly when the prices would change nobody would buy them at the higher prices. Lately though there has basically been a sale on something all of the time. I suspect that it'll slow down a bit once the "Christmas sales" end.

As for how much Raman Legends and RE:Revelations will be and for how long. Your guess is as good as mine.

Some playlists: Top All Time Songs, Top Last Year

Other than the sales, Ubisoft have dropped the price permanently on various games. So I would assume Rayman will eventually have the same treatment over time.
Also, it wouldn't suprise me if Resident Evil will be in the sales again in the future. I think it's been on sale a couple of times already.

Capcom stuff seems to go on sale frequently , at least it was on sale Halloween and this past Shopping season. As for Rayman Legends, the physical version was on sale for $25 on amazon during the week before Christmas.

The most frugal way for Wii U purchases if you ask me is to Only purchase via Eshop if you either

  • Never plan to sell the game
  • You plan to purchase the game around release

Otherwise its always more beneficial to purchase the actual game disc because price discounts happen faster.
