Definitely picking up Metroid Prime Trilogy when it hits, though I will likely have to delete Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge to make room for it (deleting the software doesn't force you to delete the save data, right?) until I can get my hands on a hard drive. Would love to get Punch-Out and Sin & Punishment Star Successor as well.

You have to go into your data management, tap onto the game you want to delete and choose to delete the game itself "not the save data" if done correctly you won't lose your save data.

You won't regret it! The Prime Trilogy can easily fill your gaming session space for February if you take your time with them~ I forgot to add Sin & Punishment Star Successor to my list, never owned that one.

You can't beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 for only $10! I downloaded that since I've lost my disc awhile back. By the way, you apparently can use your save data from the retail version of Wii games on the downloadable version. Booted SMG2 up and my old save file from my now-lost disc appeared! May not be anything major, but I thought that was pretty cool.

As for other Wii games, there's not a whole lot I can think of that I do want since I already own a lot of Wii games. I suppose I would triple dip for Xenoblade Chronicles (already own the Wii version and plan on buying the New 3DS version) due to it being awesome and Off-TV Play. Excite games would be also cool.

I wonder if this will give Fatal Frame IV and the Fatal Frame II remake a second chance at being localized in the US.

They should definitely do Gamecube VC, but in terms of Wii games, I just hope Nintendo puts up Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn as downloadable, as Awakening was my introduction to the series, and nowadays, it's pretty much impossible to find a copy.

Would love to see MadWorld make a return. Oh, and the No More Heroes games.

Anybody having issues running SMG2 off of a USB device? I read on another site that people have been having issues when the game is on a USB device, but it seems to be fine when it's on the Wii U's internal memory.

I don't see Twilight Princess being added, at least for a while. I think this because I have a feeling that a Wii U HD port of it is in the works.

Join the hype!! I have been having this discussion since the Wii U launched. It would be beautiful (and the visual opposite of WW to contrast) and it could include the GC version with remixed dungeons to have a mirror world master quest like OoT3D. A remake could also have 3-4 different control options (Remote and Nunchuck, Gamepad, Pro controller and maybe GC controller). The world needs to make this happen!

yeah you could tell the motion controls were tacked on. Plus with MM 3D 3DS has 2 Zelda remakes, so I imagine Wii U having 2 as well would make sense.

Anyway, I hope Super Paper Mario gets added.

As much as I loved Twilight Princess, I mean it was the game that made me get the Wii originally xD I remember the days of trying to track down a console and having a copy of the game a full month before I got my hands on the Wii. Not only were the controls tacked on but still felt really good and still do imo ((tho aiming with the bow is superior to SS in this imotbh)) but the entire map was mirrored, and I always wondered and I still wonder, why didn't they just reprogram links model to fit the right handed look~ XD Love the game but its a small nitpick, and a really small one nonetheless~

I don't think an HD Twilight Princess is going to happen. I remember reading an article about Wind Waker HD and how they took all the 3D Zeldas and compared how HD affected them and WW got the most improvement. I think they would pick something with a similar art style that would also gain a lot from HD and I think Dkyward Sword would be more likely. I do hope both come to VC

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I imagine they both will be released on the eshop both ocarina of time & majora's mask made it to the Wii's VC and still got remade so by past logic a eshop release of TP is going to happen even if it eventually got remade XD. Also lets not forget remakes seem to go hand in hand with new Zelda games as of late, (2011 OOT3D to Skyward Sword - 2013: WWHD to ALBW - 2015: MM3D To Zelda U) so going by that logic we may not see another zelda remake until the next big game which may not even be on the wii u or 3ds for that matter. So, in the end its safe for Nintendo to put TP and SS on the eshop as is.

Haha, I actually did the same thing! I bought the game when it first came out, but didn't get a Wii until later.
It was actually my favourite Zelda at the time though.

I was mainly directing this at a Wii U remake. Future consoles are always fair game.

It was released on the Wii first, how is that a GameCube port? Because it was originally developed for the GameCube? I guess that makes Kirby's Return to Dreamland just a GameCube port as well; and Pikmin 3 just a Wii port...
