I really would love to be on your side of this argument, but you are making it difficult now.

gage_wolf was being a whiny dork and crapping on your game, you replied with a bit of an edge (which was understandable because you had just been called out), then gage_wolf continued to insult your game and character only making himself look worse in the process while you remained silent and allowed the topic to die.

Then now you go and dig it up again to point out someone else is making a flappy bird clone? Really? Even when the one you are pointing out actually looks more 'impressive' than your own knock-off? This isn't helping your cause....

Nintendo started out as a cloner. Space Fever (Space Invaders) / Color TV Game 6 (カラー テレビゲーム 6) and Color TV Game 15 (カラー テレビゲーム 15) (Pong)

Not even any differentiation but the same type of thing as those 100-1 game things that include Super Mario Bros.

Well it's the guys money so he can do what he wants, a buck for the game AND Club Nintendo coins is alright in my opinion, the eShop didn't have Flappy Bird/Helicopter until now, as long as devs don't spam the eShop with the game then it's alright IMO.

You're putting words into his mouth. Knowing bezerker99 and his taste in games, I'm fairly sure he figured he'd have fun playing it on a Nintendo system, so that's why he shelled out. Any inconvenience to yourself was purely coincidental.

I think everyone gets it. You want devs to put more effort into their games than this, and the dev showed up to put his foot squarely into his mouth, so congratulations — you've made your point and with the help of Tom's article, the gaming world has been made more aware of the dev's statement, for good or ill. You can't force people to only purchase and play games you think are worthwhile, though. There's enough room out there for laziness and ingenuity to coexist, and we as gamers are given the opportunity to pick and choose what we want, no more, no less. if I want to purchase and play a lazy game, I'm going to do so. If you or anyone else doesn't like it, that's too damn bad.

This actually isn't a bad game so I don't understand the hate...you can't expect a AAA game or even an A game for under $2 it's just not going to happen. Could the developer have made the game better? Sure, but that would've put him at risk of losing money and would've increased the cost of the game. Honestly Mr. Aschenbrenner needs to earn a living and if he accels at short, and quick titles then more power to him. It's not like he's charging much for these games and it's not like they're bad, with the exception of Shut The Box. So the hate in this thread is quite disheartening.

If that's the purpose of this thread now, for you to heckle and personally encourage others to also heckle people who bought this game, I'm going to ask for an end to that, please. It may be your opinion, but there's no need for that sort of rudeness. :/
