Hi Everyone, I was hoping someone might be able to help. I downloaded the free Disney Infinite from the eShop a while ago but was busy playing other games so didn't think much of it until recently. What exactly is this game and what else would I need to play? I would think I also need some figures which I have seen in stores, but what do I put them on and where do I get that thing?

Darn you Nintendo, my backlog is already out of control and you are just making it worse with these new game announcements!!!!
You will need figures of the characters you want to play as and the base to put them on so the game recognizes them. As far as I know that download is technically to have people who own it on Wii or other system upgrade to the Wii U version, provided they already got the starter pack.
You should be able to look for an used base and the figures you want individually, if you are really into the game. Personally I don't have it as I think that is a lot of money and the game is not my cup of tea. I will put that money towards Amiibo figures because I like Nintendo more than Disney.

I thought about buying a base and a figure or two...until I saw that huge ugly plastic monstrosity and I said to myself "nah I'll just wait for Amiibo"
