I have had the Wiiu Pro Controller on my radar for a while now as an alternative to the Gamepad, but i'm unsure about the placement of the analog sticks. To me, they seem like they are in an odd location, especially when compared to an xbox or playstation controller. Could anyone speak on how comfortable it is to play with? Or if it serves as a good alternative to the Gamepad when playing First Person games?
It's a comfortable gamepad, though it's not perfect. The triggers depress far more than necessary for digital buttons, and I wish there was some kind of tactile difference between the face buttons. But it's a solid controller overall.
It only looks weird - it is as great as other ones and also has longer battery life
That's good to hear! Since the battery life of the Gamepad is pretty mediocre, it would be great to be able to pick up the Pro Controller and play Mario Kart without having to worry about the charge

If only the triggers were analog :/ But since i'm already used to the Gamepad's digital triggers, it wouldn't be too hard adjusting to the deeper depression of the triggers. The Best Buy promotion is definitely enticing me to get one now. Thanks for the input!
