That would be nice, but I would rather have kingdom hearts 3.

That are also making a Kingdom Hearts 3, still waiting for 2.5 Remix.

Stab in the dark here, but you're referring to Bravely Default and The Last Story?

Neither of which were developed By Square Enix and are thus already superior

I can conclude that Final Fantasy may be dead soon considering that's all Squeenix even develops anymore...

Actually sir, there appears to be quite a few non-Final Fantasy games in that list developed by Square Enix.

In the past few years, it's only been Kingdom Hearts (might as well be Final Fantasy) and Final Fantasy, with one or two others including Dragon Quest X

Count the "Final Fantasy"...then count everything else. You'll notice a big difference in numbers between the two

Well, Lost Odyessy and Last Story are both made by Mistwalker, so either one works, really.

I was just makin' a little joke/observation. Final Fantasy is far and away their main export, but they still do other things.

@Jazzer94 and @GuSilverFlame LOL announcer voice This is Sasuke's first debut in a Final Fantasy game! Look, everybody!!! Look at Sasuke! Oh wait... that guy is named Noctis???? His hair, face and body build looks just like Sasuke!!!! Heck, both of them both think black is the only color to wear!
I wonder how Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, reacted when he saw Noctis... I bet he felt flattered that Tetsuya Nomura created a character that looks incredibly similar to Sasuke.
LOL this is sooo much fun.

I was thinking of more things on top of that. The Wii U lacks features like cross-game voice chat, universal accounts, achievements, media features, etc. I actually didn't mind paying for $50 a year for Xbox Live because it was a fast and fully-featured service, and while I don't care about Games for Gold, it's a nice perk to have as well nowadays. Nintendo doesn't currently offer stuff like that, and some of that stuff I don't see happening even by the next console. You certainly have a point with what you said. I wouldn't want to pay for PSN simply because Sony tends to have slow download speeds, and while I haven't seen the PS4 PSN, the PS3's store is a chore to navigate.

Now that's mostly useless and has nothing to do with the quality of online services. Many of those things only serve to compete with PC's (something consoles REALLY shouldn't), or to dumb down gaming experiences with artificial content and useless features.

Achievements are completely stupid, since they never affect gameplay quality or user experience, and those who want achievements because their games would be boring without them might want to think about what kinds of games would entertain them without it. Without achievements, some communities would be far more enjoyable, anyway (especially FPS and Fighting games).
Media features have nothing to do with gaming, and surrendering to the multimedia madness by supporting it would be pointless. Game consoles should be about gaming, not about watching movies or stuff like that. Use a PC for that, or a TV and DVD/BluRay player.
Cross-game voice chat is grossly overrated. There's no point to it other than trying to waste time with gimmicky features like that, especially since it only reinforces the image of the home entertainment system idea, which is NOT what a gamin console is. Use your phone, or the WiiU Speak program.

Universal accounts, on the other hand, start to become aneccessity since Nintendo is pushing game downloads intensively. However, we should give them time to prepare an absolutely secure system, which I'm pretty sure they're working on. But we can't expect it right now. A rushed account system would result in a second Sony Hack disaster.

No, those are important features that anyone who has used any other online service - Steam, Xbox Live, PSN, even iOS of all things will have taken for granted. You can't expect people to want to play games online when they can't talk to their friends unless they're all playing the same game in the same party. It's much more difficult to organize matches, and honestly, a lot of people play games as a social activity these days. And no, running up people's phone bills is not the answer to that.

Achievements, regardless of what you think of them, exist as an option to extend the longevity of a game. It's more content, and its harder to justify spending the same amount of money for a game with no achievements since it means less content than one with achievements. Some people like to make the most of the money they have, and Nintendo is just making that harder when they don't offer a universal system like that.

Anyways, I'm mostly just saying that Nintendo doesn't have a big enough checklist to justify forcing people to pay for online. Because online would be all that they're paying for - they can't give away a free game every month, they don't have enough to do exclusive sales, and they don't have enough features to say "this is what you get for your 50 or so dollars" so people would be willing to part with said money.

You're right. Why should I want a product to offer me more features for my hard earned dollar?

So consoles wouldn't have features that make the user experience better.

Man Achivements are useful if you know how yo implement them. On of my favorite are really hard yo get ones or co-op ones Plus they're a good way to track your games you've played. Not yo mention the social aspect.

I'll probably never but a console that doesn't have DVD/Blu-ray playback. Any console with no to small focus on media should die IMO.

As per cross game chat you sound like a fool. Did a eight person cross play chat party with some friends on Xbox live this past weekend we were all playing different games before I sent a party invite so we could play some Halo together.

The sing hacks only had the problem that the CC info is on your account and not the system.

To be honest they should have had accounts on day one of the 3DS.
