Is it possible to sell the Wii U without the Gamepad? Is it needed to like register a profile and so on. My question is, can the person who buys the Wii U buy an other Gamepad to use instead?

@Devlan96 The Gamepad has a synchronisation button so you can use any Gamepad with any Wii U.

A replacement Gamepad can be bought on eBay or Amazon, yes. But the average cost is half the price of a WiiU itself. And a Gamepad is required for some things, like using the console settings menu.

So if I am going to sell the Wii U, without the gamepad. ONLY THE WII U! How much do you guys suggest to sell it for?

Look at the eBay prices without the gamepad. You’ll get the rough idea.

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

Bearing in mind I've bought a Wii U, with a gamepad and a pro controller, for £80, I wouldn't pay more than about £25 for the base unit alone, and that would be if I was replacing a broken one.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

If you sell Wii U WITHOUT Wii U gamepad, the buyer will NOT Able to navigate Options to reset Factory , change times, checking save data management, etc.

While you CAN sell your Wii U without the Gamepad, this would not be in the best interest for the buyer unless they already have a Gamepad lying around.

As mentioned above, the second screen on the Gamepad is crucial when changing a lot of system settings, checking the activity log, and a few other functions. As much as I like both the Wii U and Gamepad, the fact that the latter is mandatory is (in my opinion) a design flaw.

@Devlan96 Why do you want to keep your GamePad? It is pretty much worthless without the Wii U.

@Devlan96 You would probably be better off selling the broken GamePad with the Wii U, just make sure that you clearly state that the Gamepad is broken. If you know exactly what is broken on it, even better. Some handy person might enjoy fixing it, you never know.

It makes sense, instead of throwing it away, make clear that is broken and include it in the bundle. People with more skills than us will be able to fix it.
