Topic: Assassin's Creed Liberation HD NOT coming to WiiU

Not yet been holding off on that whole WWHD bundle. Before I was just waiting for price drop cause I knew with sales being the way they were and MS and Sony offerings coming soon it would just be a matter of time before a price drop.

Meh. I'd say it was nice having it for a year more in exchange for $50, but I can see why people held off.
I've already bought 8 full games, 3 indie games, and a handful of VC. I'm just waiting for the holidays to buy/get more games.

I'll get an Xbox One, eventually, but I've been pretty done with Xbox 360 and PS3 for a while. That's just me, though.

EDIT: Plus, I transfered my Wii games to the Wii U, so I still have all those.

Wasn't enough on Wii U for me to justify buying it yet so been catching up on 360 and PC backlog. I also plan to wait on Xbox One price drop and will have a Wii U/360 to hold me over till then. You know, car payments, rent, utilities, insurance, groceries, etc = I have to plan my money. So what better than to badger my girlfriend into buying it for me as an early christmas present lol

I have insurance and gas to pay, which is basically my rent since I drive everyone in my family around. I spend over $200 a month just driving everyone around, so that's my job for now.
I don't have a job right now, but I saved up 67% of all the money I made in an entire year, and it got me through a year w/o a job.

My employer was jacked, so I left. They weren't being fair to the workers.

Aside from that... I'd say Wii U will be worth having. I bought a few ports. I have a PS3, but I figured it would be worth more to buy them on Wii U.
The GamePad doesn't add much to the ports, but it still has more overall value than the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports for what it does have extra.
Mass Effect 3(besides multiplayer) and Tekken already had the DLC on Wii U launch.

I expect 3rd parties to treat Wii U similarly as Activision is for CoD Ghosts this gen. CoD Ghosts will be best on Wii U, IMO, because everyone will have a more fleshed out GamePad and Wii remote control scheme along with standard controls.

It's the same game, but you're automatically getting more value because of dedicated Wii remote support and out of the box GamePad features.

I don't think I get this thread.
I've got a Wii U, and it's my only console. I played AC3 on the Wii U and it was awesome. I can partly understand the complaints about the plot and Connor, but since I'm replaying the main series preparing for AC4 I couldn't help but notice a HUGE improvement in gameplay. I loved this game, and I'm hyped as hell for AC4.
Oh and yeah, I couldn't care less about Liberation.
Also, the point Scar was making seems pretty flawed... If a guy tells you he slept with 10.000 women you tell him "meh, not bad, but there are around 3 billion women in the world, you could do better"?

You said there were more people who hate AC than love it. That's like saying there are more CoD haters than buyers. The internet says one thing, but the sales numbers say another...

I have it on the VITA. It isn't that good and the multiplayer is terrible.
It would be good to have it on the WiiU, anyway...

It was an opinion to begin with, and everyone that argued me in this thread failed to recognize that.

The people complaining about ports usually aren't the same people asking for them, and vice versa. It's the whole Vocal Minority thing that makes the internet such an unreliable source for general consensuses.

Ya, but it just goes to show that people shouldn't really complain about stuff, because some people like what others are complaining about.

EDIT: In other words, I'm complaining that AC isn't a fun game(to me), and then there are people complaining about whether it is or isn't being released. I guess I'm just as bad, then, but I'm complaining about something entirely different, kinda.

Third-party wont begin any new projects for Wii U until it has proven itself, even if its only a digitally released HD-remaster.

It is a shame this is not coming to the Wii U. Liberation on the PS Vita was a really good title. Better than AC3 I would say.

I just found this topic from a search site so please excuse me for being late to the party. The Wii U has a thin third-party library and an even thinner library of games with female protagonists. Therefore I think this would be a good addition to the Wii U's library. Unfortunately, third-party games seem to be fighting an uphill battle on Nintendo systems since Nintendo 64. It would be nice if Nintendo got out of this slump. It would also be nice if Nintendo removed some of the Wii U's restrictions like region-locking and limited playable demos, but common sense doesn't seem to be Nintendo's thing right now.

I think a HD port of a mediocre Vita game has now been discussed more on this forum than the apparently excellent update of the already excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution. If you think this is fair, stop posting.

This may be a little weird, but I think it's kind of funny the console port is called Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. I mean... Wasn't the Vita in HD already? That was what they advertised. Ah well...
