Does anybody know if a new Animal Crossing game has been announced for the Wii U?

No, nothing yet. Considering AC 3D hasn't even been releases yet it will probably be a few years before we get AC U.

It haven't been announced and probably wont be for quite some time. Animal Crossing 3DS is not released yet and the producer of the Animal Crossing games is also making NintendoLand.

Aah, ok. Just with the 3DS version and the Nintendo Land mini game I was starting to wonder.
