The Indie game was more interesting than what they showed. They barely showed anything on the more interesting games, and filled the whole event with FIFA and co.
I actually think applying Triforce Heroes' co-op to the traditional formula could be an interesting addition to the main series. Having extra players to help you could help make exploring that massive overworld more manageable, and the puzzles get a lot more interesting when you need multiple players to solve them. I'm not sure that that's what they're doing though.
Sorry, forgot to add it would be a lot more linear and more action based rather than exploration based.
Well that's already an impossibility considering the massive overworld we have now.
That was scrapped
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
Yeah there wasn't much SW gameplay, I caught a second here and there, but I have to wonder how much of that was actual gameplay, as most of those games won't be out anytime soon.
Didn't watch EA's conference. It looks like they had exactly what I expected: Titanfall 2, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Battlefield 1, with lots of sports to fill in the gaps. Far less Star Wars than expected though. So a bad conference.
On a side note, I feel bad for Microsoft. They've had three of their major announcements leaked.
Bethesda's conference was good. They showed a lot of things, but sadly I'm not interested in most of them, bar maybe Dishonored 2. So far, the past two conferences were allergic to showing gameplay. We saw only a bit from EA and we only saw a decent chunk from 1 game from Bethesda.

According to Pro Jared's youtube channel, Nintendo is not doing an announcement at E3.
I find it difficult that they won't have any announcements at E3. They still have things to show off with Legend of Zelda. Pokemon Sun & Moon info to announce. The Pokemon Go segment will probably announce a release date. There will be announcements, just maybe not new game announcements (still find that slightly unlikely, 3DS or Wii U could get a small announcement)

Though I wasn't planning to, I ended up watching both the Bethesda & EA conferences, since my bro went to bed early.
Bethesda: I'm not against mature/gory games or anything (have actually enjoyed a number of them, infact), but for some reason, there was just something about their lineup that just put me off for some reason (like the close range assassination kills in Dishonored 2, for example, which made me squirm). I will say however, that one device in Dishonored 2 that let you see into the past (or future) in real time was quite nifty (if Nintendo could find a way to implement something like that into Zelda, it could really shake up the past/future two world structure).
EA: They actually had a few games that caught my attention, such as Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and Fe (though the aesthetic in that last one looked like it could be disorientating), but it somehow managed to drag & feel dull most of the time (especially that soccer section).
