@DefHalan Or maybe there isn't "the rest of the Treehouse Live stuff" and that 1 hour stream is the only Nintendo streaming for the whole of E3.
If they want to back out from E3 they should just not show anything there. This is just making they look bad.
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
@Octane From what I have seen, they are only talking about the 1 hour in relation to Zelda. Does that mean they aren't doing anything else the rest of the time? I don't know, their plans haven't been very clear.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@IceClimbers True, but we will just have to wait and see. Treehouse Live has always been a 3-day event and it seems weird to fly members of Treehouse down for a 1 hour event. But I am not in charge of Nintendo's E3 plans so we will just have to wait and see.

@DefHalan Don't they also do press interviews and help with the demos and whatnot? You shouldn't forget that there's the usual behind the scenes stuff as well.
@Octane Press interviews are normally done with developers and their translators. elping with the demos are normally just hired help. Treehouse might do some translations for interviews but even that seems unlikely. Treehouse Live was the biggest reason to bring their localization team out to LA. Without Treehouse Live presentations all 3 days then it would be weird to bring out their Treehouse team and do just 1 presentation for 1 hour and maybe just for the rest of the day.
We will just have to wait and see how this plays out.

@DefHalan I don't know, I wouldn't worry too much about that. I think it's pretty clear that there's not a lot more going on at E3 for Nintendo. I too would like more than we're getting, but I don't think it's happening.
I've been thinking again over the logic regarding "E3 is dying" and I'm starting to think it may not be like that but rather the things that suggested it may mean other things instead. For example:
. Disney quit E3 but Disney quit gaming so that means nothing about E3.
. EA quit E3 to do their own thing but there will be stuff to play at E3 (e.g. Battlefield 1, Fifa '17)
. Activision doesn't have a booth but the main Activision games are shown at the Sony/Microsoft booths anyway
. Nintendo's only bringing Zelda U but NX hasn't been revealed yet.
@Grumblevolcano I think it's also a safe assumption that the only reason why Nintendo rents all that floor space this year is so that they can have it again next year. If they don't and other publishers rent their space, it's going to be very difficult to get it back next year.
@Octane I think it a social experiment on open worlds. They have massive floor space and only 4 or 5 demo pods spread out. Nintendo will be observing how people dislike having to walk from one to another, yet love performing this action in a video game.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
