I picked up ToD when it was around $60 CD-only. I can only wonder what it goes for now.
Around the same time I paid the same for loose Pocky & Rocky 2 loose. Now the original is an $80 game loose?
Last year I decided it was better to get the EU PSP version of ToE. I guess the EU got it on PSP and the US didn't because the reverse happened on PS1.
Got the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection for PS3 the other day, so that's a throwback I guess.
I have a hard time calling the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox/Dreamcast era "retro".
Garage sale tiiime! I found a ColecoVision today! It came with Mr. Do, Tarzan, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mouse Trap. I only paid $30, but I'm not really sure if it works (ColecoVisions do not age well). I need to buy some RF cables for it and then I'll be able to test it. I also found The Oregon Trail (The original version floppy) complete, a Konami Bottom of the Ninth handheld LCD game, NHL '94 on the Genesis, and the box/instructions for NHL '95 on the SNES, among some other newer games.
First up is a batch of Activision 2600 games I picked up on eBay over the past week:
Freeway, blue label variant
River Raid, blue label variant
Cosmic Commuter - an excellent game, and one of the more rare Activision carts.
Ghostbusters - such a horrible version of this game.
And with those purchases, I only now need 4 more carts for the full Activision 2600 collection.
But wait! There's more! The following purchases are from the retro store today, a straight-up trade (I traded in my extra N64 and a couple old strategy guides for games I no longer have) ...
Sega Genesis fun:
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - a weak one-on-one fighter, but it does have Morphin power. Also, I still have a crush on the Pink Ranger.
Streets of Rage 2 (boxed, no manual) - needed to own this game. Because awesome.
Instruments of Chaos starring Young Indiana Jones (CIB) - I've only played this for a minute, and it's a horrible mess of a game. Yay!
A couple of classic Game Boy game cases.
Perfect Dark (GBC) - this is one of those weird GBC carts with the built-in rumble pack. Nifty!
Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle (ColecoVision) - a great version of this game, a lot of fun.
Pitfall! (Atari 2600, CIB) - I already have 2 or 3 copies of this game, but had to grab this great condition CIB copy just on principle.
Ghostbusters (Sega Master System) - maybe my favorite version of this game, with the possible exception of the C64 version.
Phew!
I also have coming in the mail a CIB copy of Robotech: Battlecry for GameCube (which I don't consider retro, but thought I'd mention it anyway). I absolutely love Robotech, and I'm not really sure why I never bought the game back when it came out.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - a weak one-on-one fighter, but it does have Morphin power. Also, I still have a crush on the Pink Ranger.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Does 3d shinobi 3,streets of rage and sonic the hedgehog count? I just got them from the eshop and boy do those title look GREAT with the 3d treatment!
The SNES MMPR was really more of a side-scroller hack-n-slash than a beat-em-up. It feels a lot like Ninja Warriors, which isn't too surprising considering supposedly Natsume made me the SNES MMPR for Bandai (in addition to NW for Taito).
If memories serve me right, this has more potential at being a charlie brown stinker than Rygar could ever dream of.
Probably, especially as Kemco loved changing licenses between regions. It was originally a Donald Duck game.

That game gives me nothing but bad genny' memories. Even the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers brawler back on the SNES felt like a bag of soggy pretzels in comparison to the likes of Streets of Rage and Final Fight. No contest. I couldn't stand that game, or any of ther MMPR games for that matter.
your problem lies within not being able to handle the morphin power. everyone has a weakness and this sir, is definitely yours.

@WaveBoy: Rygar is definitely a highly Radically Ryno Recommended NES game that I still need to get! I remember playing that on a 18" CRT back in the day though I never got far and I would love to go back too it. I'm sure I played Snoopy's Silly Snoozefest once, at the most. I think I will just keep that in the Mother Brain memory bank. The Mega Man sprite is a definite winner though.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
Mario 64 and Blast Corps, both for the great N-64. (duuh)
Bought them yesterday from a good friend. This particular Mario 64 has been mine before, in the 90's, so it found it's original owner again after some 15years The cover was in really great shape still.
Where my friends and I usually get stupid:
https://www.twitch.tv/MUDWALLHOLLER - Come by hang and visit our Discord. The link for Discord is on the Twitch page.
Pirates of Dark Water (Sega Genesis) - This was a very cool cartoon back in the day, but I never knew until a few weeks ago that there was a game of it (and there's also an SNES game too). It's pretty good; the gameplay reminds me a bit of Aladdin.
Double Dragon (Atari 2600) - I finally snagged a copy of this elusive and rare Activision cart (at a good price, too). This version is horrible — damn near unplayable — but when it comes to going for a complete Activision 2600 set, that's the way game chasin' go. Only 3 more Activision carts to go!
How can you trademark a number, let alone two of them?
Back in the 80s, Atari could do anything!
