I bought Super Metroid for the 30 cents deal of th month and I had an excellent reunion. Most items were in hiding better than anything I've ever seen! The exploration and gameplay is great, so I had an excellent reunion. The graphics in HD were neat too.
Nice deal on that Super Metroid

That is a sweet N64 pad:)
I bought a mint copy of Mario Tennis (JP) for the Virtual Boy. I don't have a Virtual Boy. I do, however, have an ebay addiction.

It's going to be ace for Nes, Snes, Wii, VHS, DVD and my galactic super duper future Atari 2600.
I don't know. I think it was the AVGN who said when you play a console as old as the 2600, you need a TV that's just as old to see it properly.
Unfortunately, I suspect finding a TV that old and still working might be difficult.

Yep that was the AVGN that said that. Just watched that episode the other day in fact. Also learned that you can use a Sega Genesis controller on the 2600 lol.

I killed a Famiclone using a Genesis controller. Not a big loss as on the Famiclone as it was a NoaC and there's tons of those out there, but I'm not sure if I damaged the controller though. I know one of my controllers is now barely responsive (D-Pad works, but only one button, A I think, sometimes works and only if I press really hard) but I'm not sure if that was broke before or after. Worse, I think one of the screws is stuck so I can't check.

Genesis controllers are junk. It's like they came straight from Smogula.
Whenever I play my Genesis I use the six button controller as I can't stand that hulking monstrosity of a controller that the three button one is. The six button is way slimmer and feels more like a controller.

theres nothing wrong with the 3 or 6 button genesis controllers

Got a couple loose games today. Might & Magic for NES and something a little more precious: a retail Wrecking Crew '98.
Just watched somebody speedrun M&M and the downside is that is says to be continued in Book 2, only for Super Famicom (as I hear the PAL version was a separate port, and then only NA got the third game, ensuring nobody gets to play the full Nintendo console trilogy. )

Who likes animal companions in their video games? I recently got a copy of Conquest of the Crystal Palace complete with poster. I could see this one going up in value once it becomes more well known.
@Waveboy: You should just have an individual TV for every console that you own and then leave them constantly on with the title screen music on loop. Then have some greasy pizza marinating in the corning and leave your dirty gym socks out to mix with the pizza smell. Have your MP3 player set to Totally 80's! for all the hot tunes. That would be like your very own arcade. That's what I think you should do with all them TV's you go through. ;p
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
Finally netted myself a boxed FF2 on SNES. I've only been planning to buy this game for 20 years lol. I picked up some extra accessories and controllers for my SNES while I was at it. Looking to get in some Lufia II when I get it up and running again. I've played the game on emulator several times but I haven't touched the original thing in a long time.
Where's the KABOOM?! There was supposed to be an earth-shattering KABOOM! sigh delays...delays...
