A former rental Dynamite Headdy with instructions and case for $10. Sounds good.
Cart only, a Genesis game called Wiz 'n Liz and Game & Watch Gallery 2.
I also got a loose Arkista's Ring for NES.

One I was considering from the same store as Dynamite Headdy. Quackshot worth it for $15, cart and manual?

I'm finally back! And in full swing this time! I don't have pictures to post sadly, but I got some good find.
I bought the amazing Super Mario Bros. 2 for $5 and this really neat box made of wood with Nintendo drawings on it. It has a bunch of SMB 3 and Zelda artwork on it. It looks seriously old. I'm not sure if it's worth anything, but I got it for $5( the guy originally wanted $10! )
Now with my local flea market back I'm here to stay guys! One of the venders sells NES games at 5 a pop! They have Ninja Gaiden ll and Contra plus Super C!! I wish I had more money!

Edit: Took a picture of the box. Kind of blurry.

Edit 2: Just tried playing SMB 2 on my TV. The TV doesn't work anymore. I hoped leaving it off for a month would fix it's problem but no. The picture keeps flicking upward. Eventually I don't even get a picture because everything is forced at the very top of the TV! I have no idea why it does this. It just happened one day. This really sucks since it's my only CRT TV. Anyone had this problem? Can I fix it or is this thing dead?

I think you could get it for under $10 on Ebay. I have always wanted to play that though.

@Retro_on_theGo: I love that SMB 3 box dude!

@Tasuki: I have noticed on Ebay "Seattle Goodwill" is selling all kinds of video games. It's like The Beagle Boys have taken over the whole operation up here!

@Ryno: Yeah thats something new by Goodwill they have opened up an ebay account to sell stuff now as well as in the store. Why they went through eBay rather then an actual website like Goodwill.com is a mystery to me but whatever.

@Retro: And speaking of Goodwill you can pick up a CRT from them for like $20 to $50 depending on the size.

Did some research and found out that box is a toy chest. It has 2 variants, and the best part. It goes for an average of 50 bucks! Mine isn't in good shape though. Not bad shape, not good shape. So at the least $35-$40! I only spent $5 bucks on it. Ah, I love Flea Markets. I'll probably never sell the thing though.

Just ordered M&L: Superstar Saga and Final Fantasy 1 + 2: Dawn of Souls from Amazon. SS was 10 dollars, FF was 16. Both come with the cart, box, and manual, so not too bad.

Nintendo - Where even first person shooters ooze creativity.

I haven't bought anything retro for awhile since the underwhelming Robin Hood, so hopefully this is more of a crowd pleaser. Wasn't there rumors that this game was coming to the VC? Anyway, my NES Double "D" Trilogy is complete! I have been waiting to find a 100% complete copy of this favorite with the gnarly poster screaming and radiating all kinds of 80's style. Another one of those games I never beat as a kid so it will be great to finally get my Revenge!

Who has played the Battletoads Double Dragon Ultimate Team NES game?

@Ryno: Great purchase there and CIB too very nice. That has to be my favorite Double D game in the series, of course with the 2Player B extra life trick it was a bit easier than the first and third one.

As for Battletoads Double Dragon. The SNES was better than the NES. Although the gameplay and levels were the same the better graphics and music made it alot better.

What is this 2Player B extra trick you speak of Tasuki? Interesting to know that Ultimate Team on the SNES is an enhanced version of the NES game.

@Ryno: Oh wow I am surprised that an ultra cool retro gamer like you has to ask that. Don't worry I will tell you this once . Start the Two player B game (the one where you can hit each other) and than kill the other player by beating them up you get their lost live. I believe you can get up to 7 lives max by doing this trick.

@Tasuki - Wow, never knew about that. I always seem to die in that level with all of the Chins (I believe they're Chin.)

@Ryno - We're united by CIB DD2! I picked mine up as a teenager. I got that and TMNT 2 CIB combined for 7 bucks, but it was one of those I-just-want-to-get-rid-of-this-stuff type of deals. I'm sure I've mentioned it before because it's my only CIB retro purchase.

Yeah its works as long as the other player is the one killing the other player. When I use to play this game with my brother and saw that the other one was getting the stuffing kicked out of them and was about to die we would run over to them and land the final hit killing the other player and giving the other one an extra life.

@Tasuki: Ha! Maybe I knew of that back then but it actually wasn't a game I played a ton of. Good to know it is there if I want to cheat/get some help. Haha...

@StuffyStuff: Oh hell yeah to the one degree of NES separation man! That is a steal of a deal for DDII and TMNTII for $7! I paid like 3-4 times that amount for my CIB copies of those two games. Haha... If Waveboy would ever get that dang time machine of his working we could round up the Nintendolife Goonies and go back to the 80's and 90's and stock up on some NES and SNES games!

Battletoads Double Dragon for Genesis is good too

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Thanks! I played the game tonight because of this. I always seem to die jumping around so this gave me enough lives for trial an error.

No problem. Makes the game a bit easier now, don't it.

Got this nice package for 80€ which is a very good price for these in Finland. Usually you have to pay at least 40€ for used GameCube and 20€ for games like SSBM and Wind Waker.
