Topic: Your Favourite Power up in a Mario Game

I've always been a huge fan of the classic Fire Flower, but if I had to pick my all-time favorite, it would have to be the Tanooki Suit. It's just so versatile.

Have to go with the classic fire flower because of its long range. Second i would go for the hammer bro suit because its just awesome and third the cape feather because its better than the raccoon leaf.

I liked the frog suit, it was so cute and I like frogs and green is my favorite color and hopping around was fun.

To me, there's always been something extra special about the SMB 3 Hammer Bros. suit! Maybe it's how rare it is, or maybe retribution against the Hammer Bros. for their past harassment. Definitely my fav! I hope it's back in one of or both upcoming New SMB games! Also partial to SMW Super Cape!

I'm going to have to agree with you FluttershyGuy, the Hammer Bros. suit was awesome. I just wish there had been more than 3 or 4 of them in the whole game. I loved saving mine until the very end and then using it on Bowser. Five hammers and he's down for the count!

Super Mario 3 was full of memorable power ups. The frogsuit, tanooki suit, racoon suit. And what about the kuribo shoe which only appears in ONE level! Easily one of my favorite Mario stages of all time. Nintendo should tap Mario 3 more to make the 2 New Super Mario Bros. games look more appealing. I'm glad the racoon suit is back and it was nice to see the tanooki in Super Mario 3D Land, but man, they have so much to work with and they don't do it.
