Topic: What was the name of this game...?!

I am searching so long now and never found anything about a game a played many years ago when i was a little kid. Here the (few) facts i know:

• It was on a SEGA console (we just called it "SEGA" so i don't know which one)
• We played a side-scrolling Sonic game on the same console (where my buddy and i played co-op with sonic and tales)
• It was a racing game (just like mario kart)
• The racers were very different... (what i can remember is a indian guy on a flying carpet, and a frankenstein-type guy in a violett cadillac (or so))

HAS ANYBODY, ANY IDEA!!?!?!

(P.S: ...and what was this windows minigame called... where you were skiing down a hill and had to avoid trees and stones and in the end you were eaten up by a yeti-monster-thing no matter which way you went? )

You're right! That's the game... but after watching the videos on youtube i think i played the game on SNES, because the SEGA Saturn version called Street Racer Extra not fits with my memories of the game. HOPEFULLY THAT ONE'S COMING TO VC!

YES, that one was one of the first games i ever played "SkiFree" along with minessweeper and all this windows starter games ... nice!
