Ninja Gaiden is great, but very, very tough. There are way too many good NES games to list. It'd be better if you listed what you already have first.

Wingman

My personal favorites are...

Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
Dr. Mario
Blades of Steel
Double Dragon
Bubble Bobble

Wingman

Don't Forget:

Punchout!
Megaman 3
Life Force

The Legend of Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventures of Link
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
Castlevania III
Bubble Bobble
Adventures of Lolo
Ninja Gaiden
Ninja Gaiden II
Mega Man 3
Punch Out!!!

Bionic Commando on the NES is one of the most unique videogame experiences I’ve ever played.

Do not forget about Capcom’s Duck Tales 1 & 2.

Metal Storm (watch this video:http://www.retrowaretv.com/home/HappyVideoGameNerd/HVGNEpisod...)
is very underrated but awesome.

Unfortunately, these titles are not on VC. I think Nintendo denied Bionic Commando to be on VC, but I can be wrong.

Two great underrated NES titles on VC are Startropics 1 & 2.

I've played all these games I mentioned, and I think they are all worth checking out!

Objection

Of course there's the Mario NES trilogy. But I've also heard so much good regarding River City Ransom. I'm about to get it myself.

The Mario trilogy INMHO.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.

I have Mario is Missing, Rampage, Mega Man 6, Adventure of Tom Sawyer, Swords and Serpents, Metroid, Flying Dragon, Startropics 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Super Mario Bros, Adventures of Dino Riki, Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy, Shinobi, Kirby's Adventure, Ikari Warriors 2, Bayou Billy, Bomberman, Yoshi's Cookie, Adventure Island, Ultima: Exodus, and Nintendo's Wolrd Championship remake. Can you give me some suggestions on what games to sell and what games to buy. I want games that can save the most but others will do.

How on earth can we give you suggestions on what games to sell? You would know better than anyone else which games are most worth keeping since they're your games and you'd know best which ones you like.

But as far as which to buy, Mario 3 would be the most obvious choice. Also: Zelda 1 & 2, Mega Man 1-5, Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2, Battle Toads, Marble Madness, Snake Rattle & Roll, Castlevania 3, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, TMNT: Manhattan Project, and way too many more. NES games are generally full of charm no matter how flawed they are. Just grab anything with a title that sounds fun and a low price tag.

I already have ninja gaiden 2. Should I get Dragon Warrior 2,3,4 I already have zelda 1,2, on virtual console, Mega Man 1-3, 9 on vc/ww, all mario's on vc and all castlevanias on vc. I am looking in to getting MM and Both Duck Tales though even though the 2nd duck tales is 40 dollars on Amazon. By the way do you know any online stores that sell retro games for a cheap price. Are there any Retro stores near Brookline, MA The closest one I know of is Game Universe in Framingham

@castlehominid99
Look for a store in your town called play-n-trade. The one near me is AWESOME for old games. That is where I got marvel vs capcom on the dreamcast and all the super starwars games, along with duck hunt (which isnt hard to find but I found on in perfect condition) and a lot of old systems. I actually have a FC3 system which is made by yobo. It plays NES, SNES and genesis games. IN 1 SYSTEM! Isn't that crazy?

Wii : 5234 3442 0233 5325

Bring them and find out. Unless someone here works for that store, no one could possibly know.
