Topic: Stuck on Ocarina again

I'm at the haunted house place you go to after you get the hookshot. I've defeated the miniboss and gotten all the way to the crooked room, but it's sideways. Now what?

the forest temple is tough, iv heard tell that if not done properly you can screw yourself and get completly stuck this never hapened to me though.

There is an eye up on the wall that you can shoot with your bow. That will make the room un-crooked.

You need to get the bow to shoot the eye and untwist the passage. It's in the room off the main hall, directly across from the entrance.

the only thing that'll get you stuck to the point where you cannot proceed in that temple is if you forgot the key outside on the tree limb, above the wolfos (as Blaze already mentioned). man oh man, i tore that temple up the first time I played it, and then I begged my mom to buy the players' guide for us so that I could get through it. i felt so freaking stupid when i found out where that stupid key was. D:

Thanks guys. It turns out I needed the key. Now I have the Boss key and another small key I got from defeating a hand monster.

OK, now I have the compass and Gamefaqs is telling me to shoot the yellow eye switch in the well. I don't see a switch.

In the well? There's no switch in the well.

UPDATE: I got all the way to Phantom Ganon. He's tough.

One of my favourite bosses ever!

...what? As you surely must've figured out by now, you drain the well by pressing a button on a high balcony you need to hookshot to reach, in one of the rooms with the well. I strongly suggest you find another guide, as this guy seems to just make crap up.

Are you playing Master Quest or the original?

The original. It's on the Master Quest disc, however.

I've got the OoT/MQ disc too and I'm replaying the game now and I'm nearly at the Forest Temple. First I think i'm gonna collect some stuff though like Gold Skulltulas and such before heading there.

The first time I played through the game, the Forest Temple freaked me out with the Wallmaster, the giant hand creature, that drops from the ceiling. It sucks being carried al the way to the entrance and having to navigate al the way back to that room.
