I am considering getting an original SNES console. But I plan on getting wireless controllers.
My choice of such a wireless controller, is the Acclaim Dual Turbo models.
Question: Since the US and Euro models differ quite a lot in appearance, can anyone please confirm if the Acclaim Dual Turbo wireless controllers will work on any region model of the SNES console?
if the ends of the controller are the same for each model they would work fine.
i cant think of any controllers that are region locked lol.
since yer new here and you probably wont ever post again after youve received yer answer,
i have decided to take the cash difference between the said models you are debating over as it must be opting for the cheaper model.

@ogo79 From what I've heard, PAL SNES controllers do have some internal difference that makes them incompatible with NTSC consoles. I can't remember the details though.
@KingMike

pal region is crazy
id have to say im really not surprised
pal is a pain in the butt

Personally, I prefer the outer look of the PAL version (personal preference).
Those wireless controllers, has the same colour scheme as the NTSC version of the SNES & I haven't seen those wireless controllers in the same colour scheme as for the PAL version of the console (hence my question...).
And besides the fact the controller inputs are also on the front, I am not sure if the distance, between controller port 1 & 2, are the same for the PAL & NTSC version of the console for them to fit.
@WineAnt If you want a wireless controller for the SNES I'd say the best thing you can do is to Google for "8Bitdo Retro Reciever". They plug into the controller socket and allow you to use a bluetooth pad (8Bitdo offer a very faithful and very well recieved bluetooth SNES pad in both NA and EU colours that works with the retro reciever).
If the Acclaim pads are from the 90's then odds are they're based on infra red technology. This is bad. Very bad. You don't want to use that type of controller in 2017. Really the only reason to buy one is as a collection piece.
