Except generally these canceled games are also incomplete, and a company would have to invest the time and money into completing and distributing them. And besides, maybe it's best that some things are left dead. Let's not forget what happened with Duke Nukem Forever.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
People wouldn't pay for incomplete versions? Don't tell that to the people who pay thousands for prototype carts.
One I'd like to see is Sound Factory/Fantasy. And of course Earth Bound for NES. But it's obvious at this point no EB games are going to be released anywhere.
@Shadx StarFox 2 IS complete. They just never released it. This goes for URA Zelda as well. The extensions were actually supposed to be incorporated (the biggest proofs being the Waterfall cavern in the frozen Zora domain, and the fact that you can walk on the tiles in the chamber of sages using Gameshark codes).

It was only a Japanese version and it wasnt even finished yet. I was still in an alpha stage and thee were some debugging tools and placeholders for enemies ans that sort of stuff. I believe the reason it was scrapped was because they wanted to focus more on the N64.

@Tasuki@Shadx There is a near final ROM available for StarFox 2 which has been translated into English. You can even put it onto a SNES cartridge that has a SuperFX chip.

Yeah, but that's only a niche of people. I for one wouldn't spend that much money on something incomplete. I think if they finished them up they'd totally be worth it, but if it was unfinished it would obviously have to be advertised as unfinished, and I'm sure the average gamer wouldn't go for it. Maybe Star Fox 2, but I can't see anything else working like that.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Yes but that was fan made patch. Nintendo never did actually finish it. The farthest they got on it was the Japanese Alpha version.
Considering the developer was (I'm pretty sure) a British company, I'd be really surprised if there wasn't an official English version at some point. And supposedly that leak came from one of the devs themselves. But as to why only the Japanese version was leaked, I can't explain that. Maybe they could only find the Japanese source code?
How about: Donkey Kong Krackers (Game Boy Color, reworked into It's Mister Pants after Microsoft bought Rare) Donkey Kong Racing Dinosaur Planet Conker 64
Friend code: 5370-0444-3461
Animal Crossing City Folk Code: 3053-5977-0373
Someone found a Conker 64 devcart. Unfortunately it turns out that, to keep the game from being leaked, it was only a RAM cart. The game had to be uploaded from a PC (or whatever they used) to the cart every time they played it. So, unless you had Rare's PC to go with it, that cart is a useless piece of plastic.
