Anybody ever play this? It was for Game Boy.

Here's a video for it. Sorry I don't know how to get the actual video in the message.

But this is a fun game. The obvious sequel to Balloon Fight.

I played it briefly emulated, and it seems promising.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

I totally enjoyed it on the Gameboy, and wasn't really aware of any previous version until later on.
It had enjoyable tunes, fun story, cool game-play (remember popping your balloons on purpose, then quickly try to pump-up some more ) and fun separate challenge if I remember correctly.

SPOILER:
Yeah, I saved the little sibling! Fun ending, too!
The enemies and obstacles were relevant also!
The level inside an enemy or on some weird island was
pretty creepy for it's time/platform/funess.

Oh, and yeah, good female main-role character game!

I've never played it, but I really want to. It never came out in the US.
You see, games like these are the reason why we need a DSi VC! Guess I'll just emulate it in the meantime.

Wasn't there a color version of it too?

Balloon Kid on Game Boy came out in the US. I have the original cartridge.

Now the Game Boy Color Version called Balloon Fight GB was released only in Japan.

I remember borrowing this from a friend years ago - I also recall really liking it. I think the music was cool but has been so long - Balloon Trip music on Ballon Fight is a 8-bit classic! Wario Ware Twisted has the tune as a scratchable record, hours of fun (perhaps!?).

Oooh, I'm gonna look for it then!

Or import BFGB, since Game Boys don't have region lock.

Yeah, it would be kinda cool to play the color version, and you can even save and replay levels.
