I picked Super Mario World since it was pretty much the game that made me a gamer in the first place, and I've played through and finished it several times, ever since I was a child. It also has the best levels, controls, world map, and soundtrack out of all the 2D Mario games as well, IMO. Of course I love many of the other Mario games - I love Super Mario Bros. 3 as well, and Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, 3D World, and Odyssey are all my favorite 3D Mario games.
