I liked the press conference, the only major negative (ignoring the fact I don't like zombie games) was the Halo Wars 2 delay from 2016 to February 2017.
Buzzword buzzword with your friends and buzzword together with buzzword innovation buzzword and buzzword on your buzzword.
Yeah that Windows 10 conference was so-so I guess. I liked a few games they showed and didn't care for a few others. All those controllers and consoles announced at a conference where they couldn't stop hamming-home their much more popular platform. But consoles are great too folks, eat more buzzwords!
Now to drink a lot of Coke and coffee until 2:00 AM to see loads of Destiny and Call of Duty goodness.
AAA gaming is better than ever....
(In all seriousness I thought We Happy Few was very intriguing and I'm not as quick to hate on Scalebound as others appear to be).
I thought they started out excellent with some big games, but then it tailed off quite significantly in the middle and didn't really reach the highs of the beginning again. Still, quite tempted to pick up an S with Forza Horizon 3 towards the end of the year.
If we don't see that Battlefield One trailer in Nintendo, Ubisoft and Sony's conferences I'm going to declare all companies dead and never play another game again. Let's face it, nothing else matters. Every battle will be different, so here is the same trailer for a FOURTH time.
@Kylo_Ren@Grumblevolcano How is the PS4 doomed? How is the NX doomed?
Oh yeah, I forgot... it's cool to pronounce doom on consoles and systems we don't even know yet.

Well, I was being sarcastic. We will see in due time of course.
@Vee_Flames Normally I'd agree with you, but honestly, these playground battles between box-shaped action figures are at least half the fun of these events. A healthy imagination's always good for growing boys, and adults, too.
@Vee_Flames But console wars is cool man! We attach actual living metaphors on our $300+ gaming machines in order to give them a higher meaning and to sound cool and hip. On the Too Cool For School Charts, it's second only to playing a live demo of a game where the protagonist wears Beats headphones whilst wearing ACTUAL Beats headphones on stage!
Nintendoomed and Scorpioliving(?) all the way for me!
@DefHalan What are the odds? The only positive thing is that Scorpio and NEO are ''held back'' by the XOne and PS4 for how much that's worth. Not that we're at a point where we can't achieve the same gameplay by scaling a game down, but the amount of details can be higher on NX if the system is more powerful than the PS4.
I'm glad I was watching the football at the same time as that conference, dragged on a bit and was filled with games I'm not bothered about at all, though I'm still very happy with my Xbox One and have loads to look forward to on it. I'm not a PC player so I like playing Microsoft games on Xbox and most EA games through EA Access which I'm disappointed didn't get too much of a mention this E3. Lots of indie games had my attention in the indie reel too, though I may end up getting them on PS4.
Still the best part will always be the fallout with these conferences, Neogaf is on fire with that Scorpio announcement, with people being adamant (to put it lightly) that generation cycles in consoles are 'dead' (of course they used that word) and how it will impact the Neo and NX (that we still know nothing about).
Same sorta stuff was touched on here and I am always fascinated by the vitriol and passion these companies inspire in people.
Keep it up Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo, we need more Gaf meltdowns!
@TheLastLugia: Yep, Gaf can be quite hilarious at times. Their bond to Sony is very, very strong.
Maybe it is not a fair comparison to make but I will do it anyway; just look at the reactions to the 2 women vs. robots/A.I. games (ReCore and Horizon). Horizon was "incredible", "gorgeous," and "amazing" where Recore looks "rough" and "dated."
@TheLastLugia I guess GAF will meltdown from things even as small as there being a female Link or the name of the new Zelda game being The Legend of Zelda?
A lot of American websites are really lapping up the whole Project Scorpio whereas the rumours over the past couple of months about the PlayStation 'Neo' was mostly met with disdain.
The whole East and West cheerleader mentally is a little bit too obvious sometimes.
ReCore is going to be a $40 retail game, which somewhat explains its slightly rough-around-the-edges looks about it. The gameplay video was interesting enough to keep me curious.
The trio of Inside, We Happy Few and Tacoma were my highlights; all three being indie games nonetheless!
The best news of the whole conference, for me, is Stardew Valley coming to consoles, even the Wii U!
