1) A non-exclusive title (meaning it's released on more than one system). 2) It has to be of the current generation of games (Wii, Ps3, 360, Ds, and Psp)
Just Cause 2: In my eyes, it's the perfect sandbox game. Fluid controls, awesome weapons, and best of all, around 400 square miles of area to explore and destroy.
Soulcaliber 4 & Blazblue: Calamity Trigger: 2 of the best fighters of all time. Gorgeous visuals, fantastic character designs, and solid gameplay.
Mirrors edge and Portal. Hey don't forget the pc still counts as a platform Mirrors edge for it's speed, and Portal for the love of my life companion cube.
Portal and Call of Duty 4. Portal is the best puzzler I have ever played, and COD4's multiplayer is the best this gen, and it has a pretty good story for a shooter.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
Portal is, by far, my favorite current-gen game that's not platform exclusive. However, if we're allowed to have older-gen multiplatform games as well, then I'd have to say Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Call of Duty. POP:SOT is one of my favorite games because it gets almost everything right about a platforming game and the original COD is great because there's an actual focus on helping your team instead of going one-man-army-ing your way through the levels.

Hmmm... the multiplatform requirement is kind of an odd restriction. Doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than to restrict Wii games that tend not to be friendly for porting. Anyway, I've got a couple:
Tiger Woods PGA Tour might be one of my favorite games of the generation, but only because of motion controls. Without motion, it's not worth playing.
Geometry Wars is sort of multiplatform; although the games are technically different, the series is available on Wii and 360 and plays similarly enough.
Sam & Max (both Seasons 1 and 2) are definitely up there, although this is one case where it's better to play on non-Wii systems if you have the option - preferably PC to have the mouse available.
Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection is awesome and available across all three major platforms. Everyone who likes Pinball at all should pick this gem up.
Also, I know that Resident Evil 4 isn't available on any current-gen consoles except Wii... but because it's so much better than RE5 it deserves mention anyway. (Only exception: if you have a buddy to co-op RE5 with. For solo play, there is no comparison between the two.)
I don't get the whole Portal thing. It was fun, wasn't anything special though. Then again, I keep looking for decent PC games at my local shop, and I suppose alongside the endless piles of grey RTS's and simulators of every possible boring aspect of life (how long can it be before we see Do Some Housework Tycoon?), Portal is a glittering and genuinely unique gem. But for me, it was just 'alright' with a funny sense of humour (which isn't exactly uncommon for PC games either).
But yeah. Multiplatform games. World Of Goo has it for me. And Geometry Wars.
1) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 2) Castle Crashers 3) Fallout 3 4) Left 4 Dead 5) Rainbow Six Vegas 6) Dead Space 7) Assassin's Creed 2 8) Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords 9) Left 4 Dead 2 10) Assassin's Creed
