There is currently a Humble RPG Maker bundle. Pay 6 dollars to get both RPG Maker VX Ace and RPG Maker XP! Let's go flood Steam with player made games >:3
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
ARMA games are shooters? I always thought they were RTS games lol, I feel like I'm getting the name confused with another franchise... I did get a free game in that series from some steam deal though

ARMA series is 80% off on GOG since the games will be pulled from their catalog on 6/22 (because they're switching to Steamworks for MP). The MP keys can be used to add these games to your Steam library, however:
So, the Steam Sale has now started. Just for anyone not familiar with the sales; make sure to follow the advice of this helpful diagram (not made by me, obviously):
I can't afford a steam sale at the moment, but I'm going to participate in the whole card thing.
You get cards for casting votes in the community poll and spending certain amounts of cash, but I really don't want to spend any money this steam sale. Ignoring the fact that I wouldn't be able to download them if I wanted to at the moment, I've got enough PC download games to play through as it is.
[edit] Annoyingly, it looks like the cards themselves expire after the sale finishes - just like those flipping snow globes last year. That's kind of annoying.
(I could probably afford a steam sale actually, but I'm going to exercise restraint this time.)

You could just sell all the cards you get on the market and then buy some good indie games when they go on good sales? Although I'm guessing a couple of pounds difference wont matter to you. Better than them going away I guess?
I like Steam, but good god is the client slow. I'd be better off using my browser, but then it wants my authentication every single time...if they'd just have an "add to cart" button on the wishlist like GoG does, things would go a lot smoother...
The steam summer sale is upon us! I'ma make an effort not to get too many games. (for real this time!)
also, I've started playing my games offline recently because I'm more conscious of what people see I'm playing. I dunno why, just some irrational habit I developed. But if it keeps me from impulse buying games like Record of Agarest War, I can't complain too much can I
