Topic: Sony TGS 2011 stream

No. Lots of japanese talking, people failing to turn on a Vita, random stats full of japanese, and I think they may have shown a few games. Maybe.

Was the Monster Hunter game #4 or something else?

It was very short footage, but it was most likely just the PSP game most recently released in japan (MHP3rd) on PSN, showing off the vita's ability to play PSP games and with dual analog.

I was really disappoint it was mainly just a bunch of Vita games that will be available for the PS3. I already have a PS3 so it's a difficult sell. I still want a Vita and will probably get one in the future. This raises a good point though why would you release a game exclusively on Vita when you can have it be released on the PS3 as well and if you're going to make it for PS3 might as well just add the 360 and make it a full multiplatform game. Most developers don't develop a game exclusively for the 360, or PS3 why would they develop a game exclusively for Vita when it's essentially a portable PS3.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against ports I'm currently excited for P4P, but why buy a portable if it revolves around multiplatform console games? The reason I game mainly on portables is because they offer the kinds of experiences I don't normally get from consoles. I'm not trying to be negative, but why make a game exclusively for Vita unless it relies heavily on the back touch pad? I'm still rooting for Sony though I actually like my PSP and I want to like it's successor just as much. For now though I'm fine with just a 3DS.

I am pumped up about Final Fantasy X HD! Just when I was bummed there was no FF V or VI remake for 3DS announced, I read this! Some aren't so crazy about it, but I loved FF X. Gorgeous graphics, such an emotional story (cried like the proverbial baby at the ending). And Lulu. Dear Lord, Lulu. Only thing sexier than Lulu is Lulu in HD!!! Don't care what the degree of remake this gets. I'm all over Lul... uh I mean Final Fantasy X HD!

Glad they didn't show MH4. Slight indication it'll be a 3DS exclusive. >:3

It's not the best time life but it will have to do. We know that we'll get a PSVita Lite with better battery life on down the line.

The PSP never got better battery life...unless you count the Go <_<

I was honestly expecting " new Final Fantasy game that is definitely not exactly the same as XIII!" like every other Vita game. Guess I was wrong. It's not "new".

Hopefully, MHP3rd on PSN = Localization for the US when Vita arrives. Why is it taking so long for Capcom to announce anything in regards to that game being localized? D:

They've said 'it won't be localized on the PSP'. It most likely won't come to the west in the PS3 version, so Vita is all that's left.
