Topic: So... Did nobody notice?

Yesterday, Sega announced that the Sonic voice cast was being replaced. The only person remaining in the cast (that we know of) is Mike Pollock (as Eggman).

The new voices (so far) are:

Sonic: Roger Craig Smith
Tails: Kate Higgins

These two will debut in Sonic Colors.

Sonic is better off not talking at all really, I can care less who dose the Voice for Sonic.

I have doubts that this cast will be any better than the previous one (and those guys were AWFUL), but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

They can't be any worse than Amy Palant. She was the only one from the 4Kids cast I couldn't stomach...

At least nobody will be yelling "GRIFFITH!!!" anymore. Hopefully Smith and Higgins will do a good job. Either way, I'll put up with the voices, whether good or bad, as long as the gameplay is good (which it looks like).

To me, Sonic's voice will always be Jaleel White (aka Steve Urkel) from the original Sonic cartoon.

I'd really prefer if Sonic and crew didn't require heavy voicing at all. Like the old 16-bit games, I think Sonic games tell their story best through actions and settings than cutscenes. The voices have been pretty terrible (and embarrassing) since the original Sonic Adventure - but that's my opinion, of course.
