Anyone else been to the Sega Store?

I found it pretty disappointing, especially compared to the other stores on that same floor of the Shibuya Parco.

First of all, it's pretty damn small. Maybe it'll expand if it gets more successful.

It is also almost entirely Sonic. There's some other franchises, but not many.
I was really hoping for some Crazy Taxi stuff, but knew that wasn't realistic.
What really surprised me though was the complete lack of any Super Monkey Ball items.
How could cute monkeys not be marketable?

You can buy Sonic merchandise a lot places these days,
and what they had wasn't especially inspired.
I will say the Hello Kitty themed soft toys were pretty cool, if you're into that sort of thing.
But there was only really the six main characters featured, which I thought a shame,
because a Sega specific store seemed an opportunity to sell goods for more obscure Sonic characters.
In the Pokemon Centre for example, you can a soft toy for pretty much any ugly Pokemon.
Got a Pyukumuku for my brother.

There were a couple of ornate traditional Japanese style items,
but in the main it didn't seem as though they had put much thought into most of it,
very different to the Nintendo store where you feel each franchise has been utilised in clever ways.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible,
and if you're going to Shibuya Parco for those other stores you might as well pop in,
but I really wouldn't fly to Tokyo for it.

Anyone else feel the same way?
