It's the latest movie Mel Gibson starred in. Maybe directed? Anyway, Google it dude! If you like Mel Gibosn you'll love it. I had to see it twice in theaters. >_> I never do that with movies.

Just for you.

@LordTendoboy: The only difference is that Nintendo did not make that Concept of Mario. Capcom although did make that the box art, and accepted it. This Megaman story is somewhat like the Zelda origin, one may be real the other one... not so much. However in most cases (if not all) the first game is part of the canon, making SFXT have the original Mega Man, yet not the most popular obviously.

The original Mega Man was designed by Capcom in Japan. The 1980's box art version was just made to cater to American audiences. How many times do I have to say it?

THIS is what the original Mega Man looks like.

I understand if you live in Japan because that is not how you ever imagined Megaman like the humorous way he is shown in SFXT but you don't live in Japan

People getting upset by fatty Mega Man have way too much time on their hands.

Megaman fans are bipolar, or at least the most vocal ones. I remember the people getting sooo excited about being able to play as Bad Boxart Megaman in Megaman Universe, and when that was cancelled, their, and I quote, "Dreams were crushed".

And now that Capcom is giving them the chance to play as him, they want to say "It's a slap to the face."

How so, when months ago, you were for it? Megaman not in UMvC3 is irrelevant, since I'm talking about the fact that there's lots of inconsistency with what these people say. One minute they are for something, the next, they flip. And to think Megaman as we know from MM1-10 or Megaman X being in SFxT, that's a stretch. This Megaman fits in with the Street Fighter cast anyhow.

It's easy to blame Capcom wholly for everything. And I'm not 100% sure if Capcom is taking their bitterness on the fans because of Inafune's departure and outlandish remarks about the Japanese industry that sets itself apart from the Western (I'm glad the two are different).

People need to get over MML3 being cancelled- Inafune left in the middle of a project he started and he should have stuck through with it till the end. You don't just abandon ship, especially since Capcom was taking the risk of putting money into the project, especially since the past two MML games weren't selling as well as they would want to. Capcom had two choices: Keep working on the game, disappoint fans (because Inafune was the one in charge, but since he left...) and potentionally waste money, OR, cancel the game, disappoint fans but save money.

Either way, disappointment was inevitable on both sides. At the same time, they should have faith in themselves to make a good Megaman game without Inafune. The Battle Network and Starforce games were good and those games, from what I know, did not have Inafune there in charge.

At the end of the day, it's easy to blame Capcom. But the person who really screwed Megaman fans over was Inafune.

Anyhow... Not picking this game up. I'll wait for TekkenXStreetFighter, since I prefer Tekken's fighting style than Street Fighter's.

Up to now, I've paid zero attention to this game. Now that the developer has shown silly box art Mega Man and Pac Man with a mech I find myself very interested in this game. I want to try it.

You can't possibly scapegoat Inafune. One of the reasons he left is because the big brass weren't listening to him. Ultimately it's Capcom's decision to cancel things, Keiji Inafune simply doesn't have the authority stop it. Even after Inafune left he offered to finish MML3 but Capcom said no.

...in my pants.

komicturtle

Capcom said no probably because there was a binding contract between the two. Capcom did not want MML3 to happen and Inafune kept asking- he finally got the chance and blew it. No one knows for sure what goes on behind the scenes. But if I were Inafune, I would have stuck through until my game was complete.

And I'm not using him as a scapegoat. I'm just teliing it like it is.

It's like me being a captain of a ship. I'm delivering, let's say cookies.. So, I'm displeased with the ship for some reason, but I really want these cookies delivered. Then, after promising to deliver these cookies to people who were craving them, I decide "To hell with it. I hate this ship, I'm done." and jump ship. The "lackeys" can't deliver because they aren't sure what direction the ship is going. So, the ship sinks, along with the cookies and the promise I made for the people who wanted my product. Who's fault is it? Not the ship (even though it has it's issues). It was mine.

Capcom wasn't going to cancel the game before Inafune left. It was after. Capcom was 2 months awzy from releasing the demo, after about 4 months after Inafune's resignation. Not saying Capcom should be out of the equation. I think they should have figured something out that benefits everyone. But alas, it is what it is. The game is cancelled. I'm over it.

I'm just annoyed at how these fans can be pancakes and not piece things together to get a broader understanding of the situation.

@Phoenixborn

If you're capable of analyzing situations and drawing conclusions based on information provided- also called "piecing the puzzle together", then yeah. That's evidence enough. And if you can read, you'd know I explicitly said "No one knows for sure what happens behind the scenes". Aaand, this is what I think that happened because it makes sense to me. Note that I'm not trying to take sides.

Again, I tell it like it is.

For the record Ono had a meeting with Inafune over this for a year. He happily agreed to put Megaman in the game.
As for Megaman Legends, we sorta did it to our self. Megaman Legends didn't sell well, and so didn't The Misadventures of Tron Bonne

Nope, I'm just getting started

Capcom had the time and money to make MML3 but as money hungery people that they are, they saw more money in StreetFigher and Monster Hunter, then in Megaman games, so they scraped MML3 and blame us for not wanting it to happen.

Not really. I already explained myself like 4 posts ago that refers to "money" if you paid any attention. And for the record, Capcom did not want to work on MML3 and allowed Inafune the chance to do so using their resources. For the 3rd time, Inafune should have stuck through and finished the game. He didn't. So, Capcom had the right to cancel a game that A) They didn't want to work on at all and B) Not allow Inafune to work on it outside of Capcom as their major properties are for the most part done in house (this really isn't the sole reason, just pointing it out).

Your Shoryuken is laughable. Try again.
