Oh, right, you're playing the PSN version. I know the GCN version had it, but you had to change some setting in the options menu. I'd try that first if I were you.

I bought Twisted Metal II on PSN and have $14 left. Should I buy FF VII or Chrono Cross? I heard they're both great, but I have enjoyed Chrono Trigger more than the FFs I have played, so I might enjoy Chrono Cross more. Of course, I've only played old NES FF's, so I'd probably like FF VII. Which one should I get?

CHRONO CROSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! seriously thats one of my favorite games of all time. dont listen to mad chrono trigger fanboys saying it sucks, trust me its amazing. i love that game too much!

Chrono Trigger is my favorite RPG of all time tied with Paper Mario, so I think I'd like Chrono Cross. But still, everyone says FF VII is so great.

You asked this question before. Maybe even twice. And the general consensus was FF7. Just get it already.

NOOOOOOOO get chrono cross, its different from trigger but its awesome and when you understand teh story relation to trigger its awesome! plus the story itself really hits you especially when you get to that one part, im not going to spoil it. FFVII is straight up weaksauce compared to chrono cross.

Yes get FFVII. You won't be disappointed (unless you like pretty graphics)

I don't know, I just can't decide. Chrono Trigger is amazing, so I need to play the sequel, but everyone says FF VII is one of the best RPG's ever made, so I think I owe that one a go. So I guess the winner is... Final Fantast VII

Good plan. While I like Chrono Cross, you obviously don't seem to understand that Cross really isn't much of a sequel, and I don't know if you'd like it. It's different in pretty much every way, and had a lot of things unique to it, some of which didn't always work out for the best. At least with Final Fantasy VII, you're less likely to be disappointed since you don't have a great game to compare it to (unless you're crazy enough to compare it to Chrono Trigger). Basically, it would be easier for you to treat it as its own game, and I think you'd enjoy it more because of that.

just beat god of war 3. and oh my gosh... amazing game! but man so brutal! haha.

Now I'm borrowing War for cybertron from my brother. Here's hoping it's not just another generic shooter covered in a transformers skin

How do you get Sweet Tooth in TM II?

@bonesy @mickeymac war for cybertron was tons of fun! solid story line that was fairly interesting and awesome vehicles and robot combat. on top of that there is EXCELLENT online play. only people who have played it seem to notice this but honestly it was so much fun, although now most people playing will probably be super good so dont get too frustrated if you suck early on, it really is very fun

You should get the Batman Arkham games, if you haven't already. It has a similar combat system but its a hundred times smoother and more exciting. They are two of the best games on the PS3 for sure. =)

Second the recommendation for the Arkham games. I am currently 25% into Arkham City and having a blast with it so far.

I never said it wasn't fun, just that it doesn't do much to differentiate itself from other shooters. What's great about it is that it's a fun Shooter and (most importantly) a fun Transformers game. You're right that it has a good story, too.

@mickeymac @smithers Yeah, the game seems to stick to the typical shooter formula (excluding the vehicle modes of course!) but so far I'm enjoying it. I love tranformers but could never really get into past games (only the ps2 armada game and the ipod G1 game) So this is pretty cool

@JayArr @Ryno I've heard nothing but positive things from these games, but sadly my money is tied up on a few games coming out early this year (xenoblade and kid icarus to name a few). But I will pick them up eventually.
