You're probably going to have to delete some stuff to download either of those two games. You should try deleting some PSN games(if any) and some stuff in the game data utility folder. Game installs from discs can take up a pretty good chunk of the hard drive so deleting some of those should clear up some room.

Well since that's the case, I guess I could delete some data utility for games that I dont play anymore, thanks for the help !

Do games need to be epic ?... or fun ?...

I'll catch up with the thread later, I'm in a big hurry, but READ THIS!

Just learned that NGP can run ALL PSP games with full dual-analog support, and graphics upscaling! Somehow they have figured a way to do this, but it's indeed awesome stuff. Every PSP title that suffered from single analog support will be instantly transformed!

Not only is it backwards compatible with PSP, PSOne Classics, and PSP Minis it's also has the ability to play ALL PSN GAMES! All PlayStation Network Games that are downloaded to the PlayStation 3 can be played on the NGP!

Freakin' awesome stuff, and my mind is literally blown!!!

Here's the link:

Go have some fun in the Sony vs Nintendo rant! Haha (seriously, if you do please keep it civil!!!)

omg, this is a lie. All the PSN games? The NGP is just getting better!

3DS will have ... DSiWare... yea, NGP may have a leg up in the downloadable department. 3DS, however, is still ahead of the pack in the needless eye strain department.

Come on, friends,

I realized I can get more free games because my brother has a PSN account! Now I got all of them

Now that I got all these online games I added my PSN ID in my sig.

and of course, they show resistance, which was the game I wanted dual stick compatibility for the most. And I can play my Ys games! My glooorious Ys games!!! And I'll have a reason to play Crisis Core again!! And Dracula X chronicles again, and Ratchet and Clank will have way better camera control and.... /passesout

@Kaiser - I clicked on the What's New icon in the Playstation Network tab on the XMB and it took me right to a page that told me how to get both PSP and both PS3 games.

Yeah the NGP is looking way better than the 3ds at the moment. Will be interesting to see what the situation will be at like at release time (with regards to games out etc.)

I don't know if NGP is honestly looking better or worse on the grand scheme at this point...I'm gonna wait to see the software catalog displayed at e3 before making that type of judgment. I can say, however, that the demo video I saw looked glorious and that second stick is arguably a bigger selling point to me than the 3D screen on 3DS. Dual-analog capability and gaming, at least non-PC side, are almost mandatory in my mind now. The enhanced PSP backlog is awfully nice, too....unfortunately it's PSN versions only, so my UMDs, as expected, won't do a whole lot for me next generation. I can easily see myself rebuying both Ys games and Resistance: Retribution, though.

Slapshot

Yep, and the recent Resistance Retribution NGP demo showed the game with what the journalist stated as '400% better graphics'! The upscaling is supposedly very prominent in comparison to the edge smoothing of the PSone games on PS3. 3DS games are being feature stripped like the Wii. I just got in Blazblue 2 for 3DS, and lo-and-behold; no flippin' online capabilities! I see Nintendo becoming a primarily first party company altogether in the longterm.

I found this article quite interesting. Capcom sales predictions put the PS3 as their top performer this year, but man the PSP is kicking butt!

Also, new Resident Evil remakes are on the way too!

Dead Nation is kinda cool. Played local co-op at a friend's house for a few hours last night--definitely enjoyed it most of the time. Still trying to decide on a 2nd--LBP seems like the logical choice (since I own Infamous), but LBP2 can access all the same stuff and I plan on getting that game once it's cheap...so that seems kind of redundant, leading me to believe wipeout would be the better choice.

Decisions decisions....

Also thinking about getting PS+ in the next couple days since the minis are really good.

Cheers for the info there @Slapshot and @Adam . I thought there could be somewhere to find it, but the Aus store isn't very good to navigate through.

Signed up for PS+ and downloaded all the games to try out. Tried James Pond- now that's an odd little game.

Fuzzy, Backloggery.

Slapshot

@Swerd Dude, Wipeout/Fury is a great game. You will love it, just make sure to use the Assist. Dead Nation is fun, but the difficulty spikes to insanity towards the end.

@Fuzzy No problem at all.

I just got Little big Planet and I'm having a BLAST. I was wondering though is the second one really worth buying if I already have this one?

@Swerd
Wipeout HD Fury will always be one of my favorite PSN games. You can't go wrong with it(especially for free). I'd pay for it all over again if I had to.
