Better yet, grab you PS3 controller, a USB cable and your Internet connection and get it for $8:

Sounds like a good plan if you have a computer that can run it. Try the demo first though. My computer definitely could not handle it. R&C: Quest for Booty is awesome though, just the right length for a R&C game.

I agree completely with this statement. The Xbox 360 had it's worst year while the Playstation 3 had it's best year. The price cut is the reason why I'm getting an Playstation 3 next year. And I hate to admit this, but the PS3 did have an better year then the Wii in 2009.

@DarkG: 2009 was the year of the Playstation 3. Don't get me wrong, 2010 will be an good year for the Playstation 3 too, but I think the Nintendo Wii will dominate this year.

I don't it will be close between 360 and ps3 with ps3 winning and the wii having another bad year

Then you have all your usual sports yearly titles, very few of these will see a Wii Releasy and a good 80% of them look like they are shaping up to be incredible game much like we saw this year, and yes most are multiplatform. I seriously doubt the Wii will have any chance to hold much ground in this coming year. I think this will be the worst year in fact for Nintendo in a long time

Fixed it for you since you accidentally put a bunch in that most people probably have never heard of or just wouldn't really care about. Mind you, it's still a pretty great list (I for one am really excited about Last Guardian and Mod Nation, and am somewhat interested in half the rest), but listing practically every game a system has coming out seems kind of pointless. Anyone could do the same for Wii. You could just check the many "What games are you looking forward to" threads to get an idea. I wouldn't say either has more quality titles coming than the other, but I think the Wii titles coming out look significantly better, personally. Saying a year that will see Other M, Galaxy 2, and a lot of other titles will be the worst year in a long time is pretty odd when last year saw nothing good but NSMBW (though that was admittedly super awesome and pretty much made up for an otherwise boring year). Not that there's anything wrong with you being excited about that huge list of games, but it's a lot of obscure stuff or stuff that just wouldn't impress a whole lot of people, I don't think, certainly not me.

Final Fantasy 13 alone makes this year better than ever for Sony and Microsoft.

I edited it with games most people have heard of and got rid of the games that will probably suck but a couple of those games like fallout new vegas, ff14, Las Guardian, etc. won't be released until 2011 probably

Versus 13 does not have a release date, to my knowledge. FF14 is coming this year. Sony specifically said it'd be the first year they release two sequels in the same year, and the North American website says 2010. Sure, you might think it's likely it'll get delayed, and I don't know Square well enough to predict this, but I feel it's important to stick to the only facts we have. The Last Guardian has also been announced for 2010. I don't know anything about Fallout or really care to look it up, but I thought that was confirmed, too. **shrug**

I forgot about FF14 though, that's another huge title, even though I categorically hate MMOs.

Uh, no games release on December 31. Where are you getting this information? The games I mentioned simply have "2010" confirmed from their publishers, nothing else. If you are going by IGN, for example, they sometimes insert December 31 for titles that only have a year confirmed. It's because they are dumb dumbs.

@Adam.... actually castle had asked about the Top 100 list in the Official Playstation Mag and that was the Bulk of it. Lots of them you prob havent heard of but were detailed in the magazine that look incredible.

-Singularity..... incredible looking FPS that could very well be the next highly polished one to hit big. It was delayed because it was released at the same time as MW2 and Borderlands and I dont blame them for pushing it back.
-Brink..... Bethesdas possible next big game. Wet didn't impress me (demo), but this one looks awesome.
-Inversion...... crazy 3rd person shooter that is goin to play with gravity, wich may suck but has potential.
-Nier..... Squaresofts next big project that isn't Final Fantasy and its also not a FF Ripoff. Vagrant Story proved they can do other games and this looks like it will be another one.
-Rage...... IDs next FPS. Its also a vehicle combat FPS blend that looks great, and its from the creators of Doom.
-Naughty Bear.... another off the wall game in the likes of Conker, Fairytale Fights, etc.
-Dark Void..... The Rocketeer on steroids and its from Capcom.
-Castlevania Lords of Shadow..... Hideo Kojima is helpin out with the creation of this game. and its looking like Castlevania/God of War hybrid and actually has some potential.
-The Last Guardian...... Sadow of Colosus and Ico sequel. Looks fantastic as always as both the other games were simply incredible and super imaginative titles unlike anything ever before created.
-Yakuza 3...... is Yakuza 3, enough said..... awesome.
-Pirates of the Caribean...... its a sequel to the last movie that ISNT a movie tie in. Its a stand alone title that might be really good as the others I played on Wii and they were good but had potential of greatness.
-Arcania a Gothic Tale.... its the sequel to the last Gothic game on PC, its kinda like Oblivion in Goth.
-Alpha Protocol...... Sega game that they have been working on for a LONG time to make great. Lots of vids on PSN for this one.
-Star Ocean.... next gen Star Ocean, need no more said.
-Spit Second....... this comes from Disney Interactive who made the incredible game PURE. This game looks a lot like the movie Deathrace. Racing that makes you take spit second reactions because the tracks change and implode, etc.
-Blur...... this is a BIG game for Playstation. Project Gotham Racing the phenominal XBOX only racer. Well the guys are now cross platform and Blur is their next big franchise and we are getting some on PS3. Cant wait.

No I didnt use the mag for all the info Just wanted to give you guys some insight on a few game that you may not have heard about. There are a lot of great looking titles flying really low under the radar at the moment. Brink, Blur, The Last Guardian and Nier are the major ones for me. If they make it out in 2010 is a maybe prob for some, but they are all scheduled for this years release.

Slapshot, I obviously was talking to Castle there since he's the one who said they were coming out December 31. The games in question do not have Dec. 31 release dates according to their publishers. They are only announced for some time this year.

@Adam..... oh yeah man, no offense taken and didnt' mean to imply anything if it came off that way. It was just a good opportunity to add all that as Ive been meaning too. Quite a few games flying under the radar. 2010 is looking to be another incredible year for us gamers again. Oh, Game Informer stated that he cant say anything but he has 6 unrevealed games that are set to release 2010 that are major AAA titles as well. There are a bunch on that list I didnt care to list just the ones that look promising.
