So my ladies and gentlemen, sixtyfour people are already in the game, three of these from this community. It's a tough round, so you get one last set of help... now join in, this riddle ends tomorrow!
Here are the Clues #3:
1) Game 5 was first released on Dreamcast, and later for the GBA. 2) Title 4 belongs to the Metroidvania genre. 3) Number 6 has a famous slow motion function. 4) A well known series has two entries in this quiz.
The make-a-wish round is over - was your game in it? Once again lots of people joined, but a full score was only awarded once... some of your wishes were just to mean. Scroll down to see who made it.
Three users whose games were featured in this round did not actually play - KHlover, goschi and Thrawn. Also we got Shades, who joined but didn't recognise his own wish (that's a penalty point!). How did this happen??
A quick update on the quiz in general, with good news and bad news: This round we say good bye to two communities, the Videogameszone and the PCX Forum. Both have been in the game for many years, but for the past months they just didn't have enough participants anymore. :/ The good news however is the ntower community (https://tinyurl.com/nintendotower), who joins in with a strong count of seven players. Welcome to the quiz fellas!

"Bobby is going home" wasn't my wish after all. :/ I might have submitted that last year on a similar question. Definitely the VCS game I cleared the most. Must have been a hundred times, really!
It's interesting that #14 is Neverwinter Nights.
Last year, I replayed the original Gold Box trilogy, and knew for sure that this couldn't be Pool of Radiance, as the game has no crocodiles (while they do appear in Curse of the Azure Bonds, and look the same, so you could get a 100% identical screenshot from that one).
Few companies have made a name for themselves as manufacturers of both quality hard- and software, and SEGA is undoubtedly among them. From famous arcade machines to the top consoles of the 80s and 90s (and their bizarre add ons), from total gameplay classics to freaky japanese quirkiness, this company just has it all.
To make a coherent picture of that with just 25 games is not possible, so I won't pretend this riddle is in any way a complete list of SEGAs most important work. Just take it as a selection of big and small titles on SEGA hardware. Yes it'll be difficult again, but you will surely recognise a few names in the first two rows.
Many (but not all) of the games were developed by SEGA and its teams, and all games were released on SEGA consoles (or its arcade machines).
About the survey: I promise to stop with the demographic questions, starting July it'll be only about videogames again.
SEEEEE-GAAAA! That's really some masterful sound branding here... and you can be masterful too, when you ace this round because you have had some Sega in your live. So far no one of the 35 players has achieved a full score.
But why am I still talking? Here's the first set of clues:
1) This time there's 9 games for the Dreamcast, 6 for the Saturn, 3 each for Master System and Arcade, 2 for the Genesis and one entry for SegaCD and 32X. 2) Three titles have "Sonic" in their name, but only for the first one I will accept "Sonic" as the correct answer. 3) Game 11 and 15 are both strategy RPGs in a steampunk setting, released on Saturn. 4) Number 20 is a racing game with airplanes.
The last four days are on, this Wednesday night everything will be over... 53 Users already joined this very special SEGA challenge, but nobody from here. What about you? Now I am helping you out one last time - here are the clues #2:
1) Game 4 is a well known Lightgun Shooter, you see the Saturn version. 2) The 13 is SEGA's answer to Resident Evil. 3) Titles 10 and 16 were released on the Genesis. 4) Number 12 is the Dreamcast port of an arcade fps.
Wohoo, one hundred players! Seems like you enjoyed this one... and while there won't be any more SEGA consoles, its amazing games will hopefully keep coming for many many years.
Before we get to the answers, here's the result of the "do you have kids?" survey:
Oh dear, will our forums stay alive with these reproduction rates? Keep in mind the average quiz player is 38! Thanks for all your answers, fascinating stuff.

So, let's have some WINNERS: Congratulations to Gerhard S, windfisch, Havie, excelsior, TheLastToKnow, teroknor, lifer, Vino and the_BACH, you all have FULL POINTS and won this round!
Also kudos to residentgrigo, he completes the Top 10.
I know many of you are disappointed about the lack of 4K in the new Switch, but come on: Did we really need more than the 320x200 of the 90s? This month you may again throw yourself into a pixel soup of zoomed-up characters and try to find the right game name out of twenty five wildly different titles. Good luck!
No question, after the slightly easier Sega Quiz you've got some work to do this time.... It's a tough selection of titles and just 13 players (with modest scores) have turned up after the first week. Now there is some help from me, I hope this can serve as motivation.
Hints #1:
1) In the games 1 to 4 there is a lot of shooting, but in indie game #5 there is "dancing". 2) Titles 7 & 13 are horizontal autoscrolling shoot'em'ups with arcade versions from the 90s. 3) Title #12 is an 80s home computer game with Gauntlet-like gameplay. 4) Game 6 is a turn-based strategy title with permadeath for computer and Switch.
Ouch, the month has less than ten days left and just 24 people (none from here) are in the game. Looks like I finally actually overdid it with the difficulty!
But see it this way, was it ever easier to land on the upper spots in the high score? Especially as just a single user managed to barely achieve the twenty points threshold.
Here is the second set of clues, I wish for lots of inspiration as well as motivation!
1) Game #2 is a well known Indie Metroidvania from the past decade. 2) That figure on picture 11 is not some horizontally scrolling Knight, but rather a very vertical King! 3) The Titles 10 and 16 are both platformers with a soccer/football theme, which they also carry in their names. 4) The games 3, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 18 (plus two from the last row) were released on the Commodore Amiga, number 15 even as an exclusive.
I recognised number 22 but it took me a while to work out what it was, and it's a game I've never played so I don't know how I knew it in the first place. Funny how our minds work sometimes.
I voted for puzzles as the next theme, but time travel sounds interesting too!
I voted for puzzles as the next theme, but time travel sounds interesting too!
Happy to see you joined again.
Time Travel had a strong lead, so I already collected all the material for it... and as of this morning it's tied with riddles & first person shooters! Now I'll wait to see who wins, but as I already did the work on Time Travel there's definitely going to be a round for that one day.
